The instance guy talks too much =( I just want it to be 27 minutes of Cory talking.

I think the most important thing comes at about 25 minute point where Cory Jones states that he believes they could release this game much earlier then anticiplated, perhaps as early as the end of the year.

If that means they are considering an earlier beta (thanks to the funding) then no-one will complain. It does sound like most of what they want to add wouldn't need to be in the first beta build anyway.

Thanks for the link. Like Erebus said, the idea that a full launch could come before the end of the year is very exciting. It's also good that Scott interviewed Cory because this might get HEX some exposure with WoW fans that haven't come across the Kickstarter.

He still quoted the beta as september right before mentioning that he would like to have the game ready by the end of the year.

I love the Instance and have been listing to it plus Scott's other podcast's for years now.

He has a very large following with The Instance and its good to see Hex promoted on his show.

Thanks for the link.

The earlier release actually worries me because the launch is going to have bugs and technical challenges and that's the one thing they haven't really talked about *at all*, apart from "We have some ex blizzard people on staff, so trust us." Which is actually a pretty strong argument but still. Most of the KS backers are investing non trivial amounts in this game, so Crypto really better have its **** together in terms of stability and security.

Otherwise I really liked the interview, especially the part about being a 40 year old man trying to play collectible card games. Yeah. . .
