Greetings Hex fans!

I'm happy to announce the launch of the Hex Wiki (http://hextcg.gamepedia.com/Hex_Wiki)

All the Kickstarter rewards are in, as well as some of the game basics described on the website and kickstarter page.

We invite all Hex fans to join in and add all the great stuff the game has to offer!

We are also looking for active community members to help administer the wiki.

Well there's already:

http://hextcg.wikia.com

But it has to be said, hex.gamepedia.com looks a lot prettier...

With greetings

Deleted some stuff, as they're already being resolved.

I will definitely investigate the problem with websense, as I want to see it corrected.

I doubt the url change is an option, but it is definitely something to keep in mind.

Curse takes the security of its communities very seriously and any reports of bad content, whether it's in ads that our ad provider is serving through our sites, or other forms of unacceptable content are investigated as fully as possible and resolved as quickly as possible.

I like the general look of the page better on Wynthist's Wiki (So shiny :))

But I like the Card page layout on wikia better: http://hextcg.wikia.com/wiki/Succulent_Roostasaur vs http://hex.gamepedia.com/Boulder_Brute

So after I got a glimpse of the gamepedia wiki, I am close to being sold.

The websense is a bit unfortunate, but I'm sure it's nothing that can't be fixed.

I just feel a little bit sad, that something like a wiki, where it really comes down to the community working together, is starting to be seperated into multiple sites. After all a wiki has already been in the making for quite some days.

I agree there, i dislike the splitting. However, it has to be said that Curse is a lot better to their wikis. there's also the potential influx from MMO gamers, as this opens the door to extra visibility on an actual gaming site.

The good thing about a wiki is that everything can be changed by anyone. If everyone agrees the wikia version is better, then we can alter the gamepedia one to be more like the wikia version.

Also, have I mentioned that I hate the wikia advertisements.

If we make the switch, we HAVE to make it now. I am in favour of switching.

Also thank you to Whyntyst for his preliminary work, even if we don't switch, it's worth an applause.

Looks can be adjusted to be whatever the community wants, that's the beauty of wikis! I went with the information I had available to me. (I also didn't want to be accused of simply copying what you were doing.)

Better now than when there are thousands of pages.....

So apparently the Firewall problem is already fixed. Checking out the site right now.

First impressions are positive (fluid width > fixed width).

There's also already a lot more information available, outside of cards.

The one Wynthyst has is a lot better than the other shitty one.

No need to hate... the community has worked hard on the Wikia Wiki and should be applauded for their efforts.

Uh...it was poorly done and probably took 20 minutes to do...don't be modest.

We have set up an IRC channel specifically for the wiki

#hexwiki on Freenode.

So we're currently merging all cards from hextcg.wikia.com to hex.gamepedia.com.

If you want to help, feel free to add anything that's still missing on the new wiki: hex.gamepedia.com !

One suggestion is looking at a card page to show the equipment that is assoicated with that card.

As I entered much of the Equipment info, and the equipment template fields where future information can be entered, like location the equipment drops, and combined card/equipment Images on the equipment page to see related items - I agree this information should be on the new Wiki Equipment pages. :) I am new to Wikis in general, and wiki formatting looks slightly different from the wikia formatting, but I will hopefully have time to figure it out in the future.

This is something we're actively working on. Feel free to add this information already. An example is here: http://hex.gamepedia.com/Claw_of_the_Mountain_God

The goal is to have some more advanced features with them, but the good thing about a wiki is that the stuff made today is not the end product.

Is there any way to remove advertisement from gamepedia? 4 adverts on the same page is epically hardcore.

We have compiled a pretty impressive list of cards (http://hex.gamepedia.com/List_of_all_cards) already and are now going to work adding equipment.

See something missing? Come add it!

All cards spoiled in the latest update and now in the wiki.

And thanks to CZE for giving the wiki a shout out in the latest update! :)

The wiki is really coming together! All props go out to Rap and Patrigan, and all the rest of you who have contributed! It's looking really good!

There are lists for cards by just about any variable (type, shard, rarity...) Patrigan is currently working on an easy to use template to display your winning decklist to add to your bragging rights when you win that big match!

If you can think of something you'd like to see on the wiki that you can't find, add it! or let us know, and we will see what we can do about getting it added!

Are there any particular aspects or topics on the wiki that you would like contributors to direct their attention? Great work thus far.

There will be for sure the Twitch Stream tonight. We'll need all cards added asap as well as pictures.

There's also quite a few cards that we need more information on.

There's also information that is currently on http://hextcg.gamepedia.com/FAQ . We would like to move these (except the Kickstarter information) to more appropriate places.

Feel free to try whatever you like, btu if you need it, here's some more pointers:
http://hextcg.gamepedia.com/Help:Contents
and don't forget to visit the Style Guide:
http://hextcg.gamepedia.com/Help:Style_guide
The Style guide will help you make specific pages to the highest level.

I hope to see you all soon on the wiki. If you want to just chat with the people that are currently working on it, feel free to jump on IRC. The channel is #Hexwiki on Freenode (a free web client is here: http://webchat.freenode.net/ )
