With the huge amount of packs being given away from this kickstarter, do you think that there's a chance for Hex's 1st set to ever be worth anything significant? Sure it won't reach anywhere near Alpha or beta levels, but maybe the set will have some very strong staples for vintage Hex formats later down the line.

I expect the KS-only cards to appreciate a lot...I think most of the reason Alpha/Beta is so expensive is because there's so many imbalanced cards.

Time Walk, all the moxes, all the dual lands, black lotus, etc.
I doubt Cryptozoic will release such powerful cards.

If the market takes off, set 1-3 will be around for the first 2 years, so I feel like the prints will grow pretty quickly.

I already posted the approximate print run size, so far.

Exactly How Many Hex Cards Are There? (http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=24497)

Yeah, alpha/beta were also rare as hell because hardly anyone was playing when MtG started. Add in the fact that the cards were so far out of whack in terms of power, and it's no wonder.

Also, there likely won't be a Reserved List so they can reprint as they like. Stupid Reserved List...
