I only give him a little credit for not creating a massive line of engines.

Only a little.

Don' we know now it's a bug?
In one turn it's always the same artifact?

But ok do the math, how it would be in the release version^^.

Im sure they would look at the Debugger to see why it created 4 in a row. Tho in a later turn he used it three times and got a commanders tower and 2 of the threshold gaining thing.

I think it was based on the action, not the actual card use. It only created the same thing in instances where he used 2 engines to untap to do it.

I think the RNG seed might be generated when you tap the card the first time that phase?

Hmm, but later on he used it and untapped and used again and it created two different things? But then when he repeated it once more the third time, it created the same as the second. So perhaps the seed form the first Untap/Use remained the same?

That, or unity has one shitty random function.

I blame a greater-than sign.

I think it's more likely they might have a pregenerated + some variable based on the phase/turn in order to test the random functionality, and then forgot to remove the seed...

ANYWAY...

Either way, I think it was good that Dan didn't abuse that for the rest of the game. He pretty much could've run the Invention Engine 5 times per round if he wanted to!

I cannot think what went wrong and I am very inclined to believe its was a very lucky one in a million shot. But as a software developer myself I have seen so many weird bugs that even playing a resource could have frozen the rng.
