Will we have chat / guild chat / officer channels / etc available?

Will we have an achievement announce in chat as well?

(Didn't know if this was announced)

Are there personal achievements, or is it just card achievements?

Personal achievements would be cool though. I'd like my guild to know when I solo a raid.

I did like the mechanic of achievements in WoW.

It was quite a good feeling to achieve something hard and get "congrats" or "how the heck did you do it?!!" in guild chat.

Would be cool to see something like:

Gwaer has defeated the Kraken [Krak that whip]!
-or-

FunSocks has become the [Master of Time].
Also loved the hilarious puns in the achievement names.

Would also be fun to see PvP related announcements in guild chat as well as be able to track your fellow guildies in tournaments:

Stok3d has just placed 1st in Draft Tournament 30292.

@Ch33ky: I could get used to reading announcements like that ^ ^

Was thinking the same thing.... I hope they will talk more about guild functions in the near future.

I don't really like announcements for generic achievements.

Stuff like "Player X has won his first PvP game!" or "Player X has hit level 26!" gets annoying in large guilds.

Larger stuff, like tournament wins or draft wins, raid clears (first time only), or hitting the level cap? Sure.

I agree with you on that. Little achievements can get "spammy".

I think the larger announcements help make the guild experience and the "mmo" aspect of it more fun.

Some fun achievement ideas:

[Princess] - Deal the final blow with Princess Cory to win the match (Earn Title 'Princess")
[Zombie Chef] - Bring back from the graveyard a [Cooking Pot] and use it to win a match (*snicker*).

[What are the Odds of That?] - Use the Inspiration engine to create two of the same artifact in one game.
Earn the title "Technical Guy".
