That's the final stretch goal.
I'll be there! Who's going?

I live in Vegas at the moment, so I'll be able to attend until I finish college and move :D

If it becomes a reality, I will definitely be there. I live in California but Vegas isn't a terrible drive from here. I love going to gaming conventions like BlizzCon and PAX so I'm sure this would be a blast, especially if there is a live tournament to watch or participate in.

I'm in. I live up north, but an airline has made round-trip fares in the double-digits.

I live in Cali too, but room and food alone would be more than I can currently manage.

Might be a 'valid' reason for me to take a trip to the states.

Nope, not interested to visit the land of the free...

I'm German so the flight alone would be around 1500$. But since I always wanted to visit Vegas anyway...mh, well let's make it happen first!

But you can gamble in that one city!

But we have deep-fried Big Macs.

Never been to a con I wasn't paid for. This would be the exception.

EDIT:
But we have deep-fried Big Macs.

Sweet goodness, that's not a thing, is it?

Actually, as an aussie, I've heard you guys have very cheap meals compared to us. C/D?

Yeah, in canada it's also common talk that US restaurants / fast food is cheaper. Although i think it depends heavily on what part of the USA. Vegas is a big tourist place so they probably jack up prices.

Only at state fairs, where there is no concept of "abomination" when it comes to food.

...When did we get deep fried big macs?! I didn't get that memo.

I already go to Vegas like 4-5 times a year, so one more for Hex would be awesome!

Hopefully it'll be south strip somewhere at an MGM property. :P

My food budget in Vegas often exceeds my gambling... over Memorial Day weekend, wife and I spent around $1k on food. Plenty of fancy places to go...

Meh. I could swing Vegas next year maybe, but between backing Hex and PAX Prime it isn't happening soon. Honestly, don't think I'd go though.

Yeah, being on the East Coast, I'm not likely to be able to swing this sadly, but it will depend on when it is. If it's not for a year and a half from now? Maybe.

Actually, you can get food for fairly cheap. It really depends how much you want to spend and where you want to go. I'll admit for spending less than $20 one day for food and was full. Then again, I've had another day where I spent ten times that amount as I won decently on slots and went 'what the heck.'

There are places in Vegas where you can go and pay $20 for an all day buffet. ALL DAY BUFFET. You go pay get a wrist band or stamp or some nonesense then just come and go as your stomach pleases, casinos are wonderful places. oh and gambling.

Casino buffets are great. Casinos themselves are not.

I've got a $2.50 chip I keep as a reminder to myself that $100 dollars in my hand is better than two cards on the table.

I, and the majority of my guild will be there. Road trip!

EDIT: I also much prefer this positive thread to the incessant entitlement and whining going on in the rest of the forum.

I live on pretty much the exact opposite side of the country, so, I will unfortunately be unable to attend. Which is a shame as I'm an above-King level backer.

I'm not so certain they should have a Hex Con, though, to be honest--no need to have a big drain on their money when the game isn't even out yet.

I'm hoping they wait until we've had plenty of time with the beta. Maybe even as more of a "pre-release" party for Hex before they open it up to the world?

There's a reason the date is TBD. I'd be surprised to see even a tentative date before 2Q 2014.

True.

That said, I do hope they'll be making the major convention rounds next year. E3, the PAX's, Gen Con, maybe Dragoncon and/or Origins, etc.

As long as they double it up with their NACC for WoW it would be good since they are going to be there anyway. Plus I could justify going for two games at the same time instead of picking between one or the other.
