Honestly I like the idea of a Hex Con, and if Hex blows up I could see myself making it down to the States to see it one year. I think it's a little silly that rewarding backers with entry was put at a likely un-achievable level, though, considering that we got this far in the first place.

What was wrong with another 300k stretch? 2.4m sounded tough already, but possible. Does the extra 100k really make or break the ability to offer something like this?

I know all about gift horses, but it just feels cruel to see the carrot get set right out of reach.

Of all the complaining about the stretch goal threads, I think this one has the most merit. But I am hoping we can pull it off just the same.

The point is that they get free advertising of the convention (which will happen regardless), but won't have to give everyone who backed a free pass.

With the current tiers being sold out already...this will certainly be a stretch.

There's still Slacker Backer though.

I was expecting them to set it at 3mil for this one.

I rather have the 10 mil streach goal, and make a movie

No idea how much it takes to run a convention in Las Vegas. That could possibly be why. They aren't going to make money on it, even with ticket sales, especially the first convention since that (is hopefully) the one that will have the smallest attendance.

Currently all together it is 2.35M So we will need 150k in 22 hours. Based on the previous trend the highest we have got so far per day is 145k. Considering this being the last day, if there is the last day spike it is still a possibility.

It's actually 2.25M, so we need 250K.

See how it's suddenly a whole different ball game?

Yup! I screwed up the basic math. It is impossible! :)
