View Full Version : "Celebrity" Hex players?

I found out about Hex because I'm a pretty big fan of author Brandon Sanderson and he tweeted about it one day. Once I read just a little bit about it on the Kickstarter page, I was sold.

He's a pretty big M:tG player too, so I assume he'll at least try Hex out.

Anyone know of any other "celebrities" that will likely be playing the game?

Chris Kluwe's got a lot more free time on his hands than he used to...

Well, I first heard about the game when John Kovalic, creator of Dork Tower and artist for more tabletop games than most people have played, tweeted about it. I once glanced through the backer's list and saw horror author Adam Cesare and someone who is probably Jick, the creator of Kingdom of Loathing.

Omar Epps is following this game with the same enthusiasm as his pursuit of obtaining actress/comedian Mo'nique covered in ranch dressing.

This makes me optimistic that he is our mystery author... Crossing my fingers.

Hell, he's so prolific, he could probably bang out a Hex novel in like 4-5 weeks.

Kluwe's currently on the Raiders. And they suck, so he'll probably punting a lot if he's on the team come fall.

Yeah, he's already writing like 600 books as it is! He doesn't have time for more!

The next Stormlight Archive book is scheduled for release in early January. He's pretty much done the first draft and is in to revisions.

Don't forget to nail down Michael Kemmerer to narrate the audiobook for the Audible.com version!! =~)

Pretty sure most books based on video games are banged out in like 4-5 weeks, or less.

I knew Prism was sentient.

Did the NSA decide to let you start engaging the Internet as opposed to just monitoring?

I am kinda hoping Felicia Days checks out Hex... Tried to get her to see it on Facebook but not sure if she saw it through all the billion people posting.

Joe Vargas aka "Angry Joe" from Youtube brought this game to my attention, and I'm super glad I'm subscribed to his Youtube account.

100% Omar Epps :)

Waffles, you the same waffles that lost yer jerb right before the hex kickstarter launched? I almost ended up in the same boat as a result of another kickstarter that turned out to be a scam. :(

Anyhow, forgot to mention Omar Epps, that's assuming there will be some Nubian Goddesses playing Hex.
