So we have seen cards that give cards -1/-1. And in most games I have played if your DEF =0 then you die ... does this mean you can effectively wipe out your own deck troops (provided you have only 2 DEF troops) with this card ...

Yes. So you don't play it in a deck where you have lots of 2 Def creatures.

this thread discuses this.

Yep. Which is why you'd want to be careful of when you cast that. You could draw already dead troops.

I would imagine that based on the way other games work, that the troops still hit the field, so cards like sensei of the milky eye (http://hex.potion-of-wit.com/card.php?c=233), just turn into free cantrips.

Why would you start this thread when another thread discussing it is LITERALLY on the front page? :)

You don't even have to search for it; your exact question is in the subject of the thread. :p

Ossuary if you look I responded to that thread (earlier than you responded to this thread) which put it to the front page. Avaian kindly linked to that thread in this thread above and I then went over there and read through the 5 pages and responded ... the only reason this is still on the front page is people keep repy in it.

Please look at everything before jumping down someones throat over something.

...It was on the front page before you started this thread, he was right about that =/
Believe me it pains me to say that ossuary was right about something...
I'm the only person allowed to be right on these forums =(

Well the response in that thread before mine on page 5 was 4 hours prior to it. I have been looking over the forums for the past 2 hours or so. I didn't see it on the front page. Does it mean it wasn't there, no I could be blind. But I didn't see it so I made the post. But I did jump to the other post when directed to it which was done prior to him posting that comment. I can admit making mistakes but I don't like being chastised for that mistake after admitting to it already. Anyway done defending who was first crap, this thread can be deleted for all I care as there is a more elaborately discussed one in existence.

As a friendly suggestion: We're still early in this game and the population of people reading these forums is not huge. Don't expect responses instantly. You may need to wait a few *days* for meaningful responses on some topics. You'll need to have patience. Starting a new thread for a topic still on the front page isn't necessary, and it is a disservice to the other people interested in the threads that might get bumped off the first page to make room for multiple conversations on the same topic. Plus, it forces you to track two or more threads to gather your info...

Think that through, dude... Drawing a card, playing it, it dies, draw another card... what value does that actually add to your board state?

If you're running inspire they might get inspired back up to 1def. So it might not be all bad. 0 cost 3/1's are not too bad for early aggro.

Cards like this strike me as the type of card to use strategically. If you could somehow increase the troop's health, it would be helpful. Or perhaps they become undead? (not likely) I'm not totally sure.
