In my latest entry on Casual Hex, I've took some guesses at potential future cards based on nothing but a picture and a name. As pointed out by Avaian here (http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=25975&page=2&p=265533#post265533), some of the new art shown in the Shin'Hare art update (http://hextcg.com/art-feature-the-shinhare/) have filenames that suggest they could potentially be art for unspoiled cards. To that end, I've made some stuff up! Check it out here - http://www.casualhex.co.uk/2013/07/02/wild-speculation/ (http://www.casualhex.co.uk/2013/07/02/wild-speculation/)

I've also decided to run a small competition - come up with your own card based on one of those pieces of art, post it in the comments section of the site, and be in with a shot at winning 5 booster packs! All the rules of the competition are details in the article, so check it out and feel free to enter!

(Note that I won't be checking here for competition entries - any cards you post here won't be counted)

As always, comments, criticisms and suggestions are more than welcome!

All nice speculations/predictions. I feel that highborn and malice might be strong for pvp, but i'd like to give them a try nevertheless if i had the option

Thanks!

Got a bunch of great entries in the competition already! Check it out and submit your own!

Interesting read. Just a note, the Underworld Malice picture is currently the placeholder picture for Bucktooth Commander (http://hextcg.gamepedia.com/Bucktooth_Commander).

Hmm, so it is. Well, not too big a deal hopefully! Maybe they just used that one as a placeholder because it was the most appropriate, and it's still actual art for another card.

Just giving this a little bump so people get a chance to see the competition. Unfortunately my post on reddit was downvote into oblivion for some reason, so this is the only other place for people to find out about it!

One last bump for this for people who haven't seen it yet - about a day left to go on the competition!

Got a chance to read the article today. I like the way you think. :)

Some of the cards seem a little overpowered, but as far as the theme goes, I think you are spot on.

Looking forward to reading more of your stuff when I have some time. Also, I entered the contest. ;)

Yeah, a couple of them are pretty unbalanced. So are quite a few of the competition entries though :)

I find that the vast majority of people who try to come up with card ideas have absolutely no idea how to be balanced. ;)

Hah, true. I'm a game designer though, so I have at least SOME concept of how to balance things ;)
