Very professional. Will listen to this every week I am sure. Such good quality fan content springing up really looks good for the future of Hex.

Very nice podcast. I enjoyed the group dynamic - you sound like you are having fun and that carries over.

I hope Monday night/Tuesday is going to be your regular release date as that would help fill in the void between Friday announcements.

Oh, and it is nice to put a voice to he who is OutlandishMatt here on the forums.

:-P Thanks for the compliment to the podcast. Ordered me a new mic just for this podcast, should arrive in time for Episode 2. I should sound way sexier for the 5 ladies that listen. ;-) Very happy to be working with these guys.

This one: http://www.amazon.com/Samson-C01UCW-Studio-Cakewalk-Sonar/dp/B000PTF0E2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374036695&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+c01u

My co-host, Erik Belsaas, uses it and I really enjoyed his sound. I currently record my podcast, Outlandish, with 3 MXL condenser mics and an Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixer.

Hey guys awesome start very fluid and entertaining I laughed out aloud a couple of times. I even got a kind of shout out as it was my thread http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=26140&highlight=captain+slacker where I looked at my slacker versus what the same $50 would have got me during the kickstarter. Anyway I enjoyed the cast and not so much the reminder of what I missed but hey maybe I can win the Squire you talked of. Will sub and listen for sure.

@Prophecy: As soon as it ended, I wish I would have bought an extra King tier and about 5 Squire tiers for prizes. I'm like Cory Jones, I want to please people except unlike him, I don't have the resources. :-P I'll hit you up once beta is live and they hand out our rewards and give you something at least.

Excellent Podcast – I really enjoyed it. Feel bad for whoever was murdered at the end though, but hopefully no action figures were harmed. :)
Looking forward to the next one.

I hear what your saying Prophecy - I did`nt even know Hex existed until about mid June, by that time it was to late. I am a slacker backer, but I see all the great things I missed out on when I look at the kickstarter page.

It is very tempting for me right now to buy one of the tiers for sale on the internet. But 3 things are holding me back (barely).

1. I have no idea who these sellers are. Will they try to con me? Will they take my cash and then go back to CZE to say their account was hacked? If this happens I just lost money and maybe my account gets banned.
Quote from CZE Employee
“As a warning, I would be more worried about purchasing an account and then having that seller file a chargeback on their pledge. We've already had a few accounts do that-- likely with the plan to both profit from the account itself and get their money back from the initial backing-- and those accounts will not be receiving their rewards. Pretty dicey, high-risk situation if you ask me.”

2. There has been the TOS (Terms of Service) talk floating around the forums. From what I understand (and this may be wrong) CZE will not allow account transfers or account selling, maybe they are one and the same. So even if I buy a Kickstarter Tier online and the seller is legitimate, does this mean I am in breach of CZE's TOS? If yes, again I lose money and my account might be banned.

3. The HEX Tiers for sale online have inflated prices. I see King tiers going for $300, and Pro's and collectors for $500 - $600 or more. Thing is I see where the sellers are coming from, and to be honest I am willing to pay $250 maybe $300. But for $300 I'm only getting a King Tier and then I'm back to looking at the Kickstarter page saying to myself, hell for $250 I could of had a Collector's, or Dungeon Crawler or Pro.

Maybe this could be the next topic for Threshold.

But I am happy to be a Slacker Backer and to be a part of the Alpha and Beta testing.

I personally would not have had a problem with them making the limited tiers available beyond the Kickstarter time frame. They were limited, that's exclusivity enough to me. Nor would I have had a problem with them saying, "Okay, X limited tiers didn't get paid for, we are re-selling them." So that people that can pay for them can get them. I just don't like the idea of 100 people out there that wanted Grand King tier and was willing to pay for them didn't get to get them because people sat on them. And that 100 people number comes from someone saying that it's estimated that 10% of Kickstarter funds fall through.

I couldn't agree more Matt. I mean, The Kickstarter tiers were amazing, but if they offered something a little more in between the Slacker Backer and something like the Pro tier, I think it'd be fine. At least I wouldn't feel my pledge was somehow worth less or something.
