View Full Version : Will alpha have an NDA?

Hi guys, I love this game, I'm super excited. I'd Love to stream this game and help it get exposure. I'm just wondering if Alpha will have an NDA prohibiting streaming, or will it be relatively open? I ask because people love watching beta streams and seeing things first. I have no problems waiting for a later date either, I'm just wondering, as I'm likely going to do a little promotion to try to get viewers interested.

No it won't have an NDA

Only the internal Alpha seems to be under an NDA - as they had a polished and mostly finished product live at Gencon, I doubt there will be much we will be able to spoil, especially with a lot of content being released at a later date (PvE etc.)

Not sure if they explicitly stated so, but it was heavily implied, and may have been answered in a stream (not willing to commit to saying it as truth however, my memory has proven to be spotty with certain obscure Hex info.)

In this thread (http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=23119&p=206928&viewfull=1#post206928) it was stated by OP_Kyle that those in Beta will be able to stream. Note that this statement was made before Alpha was given as a KS perk.

They've also answered e-mails and such stating that they want people to stream the alpha and to spread the word. It advertises the game more. Besides what could we spoil? The cards people will see anyways?

If they make you sign something before ALpha, then yes, NDA. If Alpha comes along and you haven't had to put your signature on something, then no NDA. You'll know soon :)

Well I've got some Mod Replies saying it's ok. So I'll definitely be Streaming Hex Alpha... YEAAAAAAH!
