Is there any news on how often if ever we will get new Champions? Like every set or every block?

Pve isn't planned to run on the same schedule as the PvP sets so no real idea.

They haven't really made clear the relationship between PvP and PvE champions, in terms of availability. The PvE Champions are whole characters, with skill trees and class/race combinations, and we have next to no information on how it will fully work, other than apparently PvE champions will get multiple charge powers and/or passives. PvP champions may be a subset of PvE charge powers, that are added each set, or entirely unrelated.

They'll likely want to keep the number of new pvp champions low, I'd guess one or two with each set that comes out. Possibly we could even see pvp champs rotating out with their set.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, we talked about this at the Dragon Lord Dinner @ GenCon. Larger number of champions in Set 1 of a block, additional ones in Sets 2 and 3 of a block (but definitely fewer than the number released with Set 1). As always, I'm sure this is subject to change if circumstances warrant...

They have definately said that each set will come with new pvp champions, most probably the way they do with wow tcg (seemed too obvious to me to keep notes of a link ). As for pve http://www.twitch.tv/hextcg/b/413840931 check 0:17:00

There seems to be some confusion/misinformation going around, perhaps I can shed some light'

A Champion is a character that represents you, the player.

There are PVP champions, single power cards with thresholds for PVP.
There are ALSO PVE champions, you chose your race/class ad level them up, to unlock multiple powers, both passive and charge.
In addition, there are mercenaries, mini-champions for PVE.

yeah felmare, I was referring to the PvP champions which are also for PvE though
It is unclear wether PVP champions will be usable in PVE, but I would assume they are not, as they are MUCH weaker than their PVE counterparts

Hrm... Mercs are the lv 20 dudes champs are the lv 60 dudes...
Champions are level 50.

That is mostly correct, but we do have this:

this shows a great deal of information about the warrior class.

Thing about that is, it was released early in the Kickstarter, months ago. Before much of the PvE had been really decided. So it may be completely different now.

It's newer info than the The Mushwocky (http://hextcg.com/feed-the-mushwocky/), and that hasn't changed much
