Honestly I found this one a bit easier than the last one. For this one there's only really one possible way to get the amount of damage you need, and from there it's fairly easy to work backwards. For the last one it was easy to see that most of the damage would be coming from Ozawa, but harder to see how to actually pump him up enough - having two of my own lifedrain troops battle each other wasn't something I immediately thought of.

I think you are mixing up your puzzles, the Ozawa/Lifedrain puzzle was the Threshold puzzle :p

Yes, my last one was simplistic compared to Thresholds. Anyway, puzzle difficulty is relative to the puzzler. There was only one way to solve the Threshold puzzle, too- and others likely saw the required step immediately because Ozawa is almost a puzzle cliche` now and the presence of Princess Victoria is like a neon sign to the next step. This is unavoidable, as some people will always be quick on the bean. Aeronaut is the same way. If you see him, you probably just have to deal with him because there are no real complex direct damage options out there.

Additionally, there is a rather small amount of cards to work with, and a famine of ones with complex capabilities.

You're right about #10 being a bit spicier. I enjoyed it quite a bit!

Interesting, I had a different solution to last weeks puzzle that involved used the Volcannon to finish off the second enemy troop and then pushing through all the damage with the walkers next turn.

Edit: Solved this one too, nice!

Does this one involve inspire effects triggering on transformation? Because I'm not sure if that works or not.

It did, but I've since edited it. So regardless how that ruling comes out- the puzzle should work.

Am I suppose to post the answer?

Turn 1:

Step 1-Activate charge- Target Howling Brave ( 1/1 -> 0/1)
Step 2- Mutate- Target Howling Brave ( 0/1 -> 1/0) Result in Howling Brave sent to graveyard, End of Mutate, Draw Giant Corpse Fly
(Left with 6 resource)
Step 3- Summon Bucc- Send Fist back to hand
(Left with 3 resource)
Step 4-Summon Giant Corpse Fly (opponent discards a card, Fist or lord)
(Left with 0 resource)
Step 5- Attack with Xentoth's inquisitor (opponent discards a card, Fist or Lord)

Hi guys I think I got the solution. I hope its ok to post it here.

3 Inspire troops in the grave would be:

- Lord Alexander, the Courageous (cause we all love the SPEED)
- Cerulean Grand Strategist (to exhaust them so they cannot block)
- either use another Protective Clergyman in the Grave (or the Ruby Pyromancer you just need the att going up so you can exhaust those buffed specters)

Then just send out your Buccaneer to bounce the Cloud Titan to the Hand. Second one up is the Cerulean Mirror Knight.
The Buccaneer should be 4/4 Speed and that nice ability from Cerulean Grand Strategist as well as the Mirror knight would be 4/5 and Speed.

Now you just exhaust the two Ancestral Specters with your new friends on the board. Pump the Clergyman on the battlefield and hit him for four.

mutate does not work that way, or at least dmg is not working with mutate that way

you mutate a 9/9 with 7 dmg, it still is a 9/9 with 7 dmg

if it would work the way you think it works,
at end of turn you would end up with a 2/16 and i have never seen that happen

Odd, it worked for me as I described in the solution when i tested it. That was a patch ago though. *shrugs*

That seems to indicate it was indeed a bug.

I thought so too, but if u kill the turtle it adds a card to graveyard triggering his incantations. That is what I missed last week.
