Not that I mind using the forum for the bug tracking etc. But isn't it a bit easier to use a bug tracking software connected to the forums for example Jira of bugzilla.

This would making searching for bugs a lot easier because the search of a forum is set to gloabal by default. Also it would gives us the Bug reporters a insight if its working and the programmers/comuniti mangers also a way to make a quick bug list.

Also somtimes wished that the client atm has a logging mode or somting so it can get some meta data the UI doesnt show (like package loss, memory messups etc).

What do you guys think? A bug tracking software also has the benefit that you can show as def what is hig and low now we do it our selfs maybe not the best thing happening :)>

I have to assume that there's some sort of "real" bugtracker and we're all just using the forums because we're not employees. Surely this game must have a bug tracker at least as advanced as the one for Dwarf Fortress? http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/main_page.php

Well they can also give users access with less rights and put stuff on unviable by group. The forums are hard to navigate.

Yes there is and I found it inside of the Hex folder. This is as "real" as it gets. See it tracking real time below:
