Pretty much all we know is that Beta will be the same as Alpha - but the 4x every card will be absent, and we should be able to buy packs and redeem rewards.

But we have not been told much, and little is solid fact until Beta is up and running.

Wait, 3x very card will be absent, so the 4th card will still be there? We start with 1 of every card? Odd but fine with me, especially when it comes to the rares and legendaries. Any source on this or was that just a typo or maybe I'm miss reading it some how?

My only understanding was that closed beta marked the move to the new server, so game play should be more stable with large numbers of people on at the same time, as well as the removal of ALL our cards and the real money store going live, so to continue playing you'll have to either spend money or use your KS/SB rewards that will also be emailed out. It was noted that Auction House probably wouldn't be ready in time for closed beta, but would be released "shortly" there after, with trading not far after the AH. Oh, and I believe they hoped to have the wheel of fate working, but no way to open the chests, no pve rewards implemented, and very few ways to earn gold to actually take advantage of your spins. Any other additions or changes they may make would be news to me but not unwelcome.

Dammit, 3x was a typo, meant 4x Editing now.

From what people are saying, before they actually test the kickstarter rewards, they're going to test the animated pets. When you first log in you should have a chest labelled "pet" in your item inventory; you can tell it apart from normal chests because of the airholes.

Run your pet chest through the animated statue. Most players will get either a basic "cat" or basic "dog" pet (there may be some correlation with the gender you listed on kickstarter, nobody's 100% sure on that yet). If you select "paid spin" you may be able to upgrade your cat or dog to more elite breeds, like hairless or persian, and possibly even designer breeds like the labradoodle if those have been implemented yet.

Once you have your pet it will romp around on top of your card library. You'll be able to "pet" it with your mouse and feed it resource cards as "treats." (We don't know yet if an all-Blood or all-Wild diet will cause changes in your pet or not). Sometimes it may "trip" on your active deck and scatter your cards around, forcing you to rebuild that deck if you want to play it again.

In other words, nobody knows anything yet, sorry. We're all waiting just like you.

"HexTCG ‏@HexTCG 25m

@jayprankin patch notes will be posted once Beta is live, and we will have a Beta Primer piece up as well"

This was said recently on Twitter.

In other words, when it goes live, we should have a bit of information on it as well.

Guild support?

This is a burning question which I'm also in the dark about.
