It is REALLY difficult to tell the difference between the orange and green font on the reward page.

https://hextcg.com/hex-backer-rewards/

Could you maybe pick 2 colors that aren't so close on the red/green colorblind spectrum?

To sum up the orange ones for you it is pretty much all PvE cards except for Chest of Hex, Princess Cory, and the collectors tier alternate art cards...except of course the Hex Con invite.

There was another thread on this yesterday. I suggested they add italics to one of the two colors.

That would work too. I'm surprised no one at Crypto caught that. A good portion of men are at least partially colorblind. And I believe red/green is the most common.

Which browser are you using? I would suggest this (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-daltonize/efeladnkafmoofnbagdbfaieabmejfcf/related) Google Chrome extension where you can set the type of color blindness you have and it optimizes the webpage for it.

I have no experience with it whatsoever, as I'm not colorblind, but I hope it helps.

So while we're at it, how are the colorblind folks getting along with the client, card design, iconography etc? Any problems?

I can see colors. I know what green is and red is. It's just when they're close together like that, it's really hard to distinguish. Unless there's something in the client that's critical on red/green color, I can use it just fine. Stuff like the squad and enemy icons in BF4 throw me off because they're green/red icons, but luckily they allow you to switch the colors to accommodate for all 3 types of colorblindness.

Well I see the complete green color spectrum as it's respective red equivalent - please don't ask me how that's called in Latin or English though ;)
Anyway I didn't have any major problems with the client so far, I'm used to distinguish by form instead of color.

A lot of people are ignorant to just how many people are colorblind in this world, especially colorblind men. As was stated in an earlier post, Red/Green is by far the most common followed by shades of blue. Its quite interesting to read up on the statistics if you didn't know about it. I only recently found out when my wife and I were studying up on it due to my youngest son being possibly colorblind with the red/green.

If your wife is colorblind, your son is guaranteed to be color blind. If both of your are colorblind, your daughter is guaranteed to be colorblind.

Not guaranteed, just veeeeery likely - there's always hope for a mutation ;)

The rewards page is fixed, and I know our teams are aware of the needs for colorblind mode in the client. I can't say when that feature will come, but it's definitely on the list.

Fear not fellow colorblind friends, I'm one of the designers and I too have the ole colorblind gene. I do my best to look at as many things as possible, but some things slip through the cracks.

I must redouble my efforts!

Wish I could have just edited the webpage, a replace all on the orange color to white would have been much faster than manually deleting every circle =/ But such is life. I'm glad it's sorted now.

Also got that red green issue. :p

In diablo 3 theres no way in hell I can tell the difference between a yellow and a red piece in my stash unless I scroll over them :P.
But hey it only took blizzard 8 years to put colorblind mode into WoW, im sure D3 is right around the corner O_o
