View Full Version : Arcane Shield on Opponent's Troop

This can be argued both ways.

Right now the Spellshield is treated as my opponent's ability, meaning he can still cast cards onto that creature. I found out by trying to block a buff from going onto his creature. That didn't work.

Should Spellshield be tied to where the buff came from? As in if I cast Arcane Shield on my opponent's creature, that spellshield should be looking out for cards targeting that creature from my opponent, regardless of who owns the creature.

Or would that make spellshield too complicated to keep track of?

Spellshield doesn't look at the source of spellshield, and this is the best way for it to work. Otherwise stealing a spellshield troop from your opponents graveyard would mean that you couldn't target it yourself, etc.

The current implementation is the most intuitive.
