I was getting my butt kicked by an amazing Shin'hare draft deck (I thought I was playing constructed for a second) and I noticed my opponent could reuse the Blood Cauldron Ritualist sacrifice ability over and over, even after the troop was already 5/5. This made his Eulogist infinity large, and even though I had two Combat Tricks in my hand, I could never have caught up with it.

It was a pretty awesome combo, but I was wondering if that is intended. If seems like the Ritualist shouldn't need anymore sacrifices once its already 5/5.

It is reusable. This could be for any number of reasons (reversion, debuffs, etc). But the ability is not a one shot or anything, it is just 'sacrifice a troop: set att/def to 5/5' - which means that you can set it to 5/5 any number of times a turn as you want. Realistically you should only want to one time, but making Eulogist bigger is a nice combo.

Ah, I was expecting that answer. Didn't think something like that would make it to beta if it was a bug. Cool stuff and awesome combo.

Sorrow's worth in draft just went up in my brain,

Yeah, Sorrow is actually an underrated card - you should grab it for reserves as a late pick if you are in blood, or an early pick if the choices suck.

Im not sure I understand. Did the troop get bigger than 5/5 or not.

No, it stayed 5/5 - it was the Eulogist that kept getting bigger (because a bunch of shin'hare were being sacced.)

That's a good outcome. It keeps raising higher and higher for me, In my 30-s drafts I'm starting to include it in maindeck sometimes :)

I dont have a list but sorrow IMO is in the top5-10 best commons of the set. On topic, yes Blood Cauldron Ritualist is intended to be a sac outlet.

So the Eulogist can end up being 10/10, or 15/15, or 20/20 up to infinity in one turn?

The Ritualust will never go over 5/5 (using only it's own ability). The Eulogist will get permanent +1/+1 for every shin'hare that dies (including sacrifices.) So yeah, the Eulogist could technically have infinite attack, assuming you have enough shin'hare.
