Using the same username and password as for the normal server, I get "Username/Password incorrect".

Did you recently change your name and password? Did you turn off remember account option?

No name/pw change, tried it with remember account option off and on (both on test and regular server).

Just to confirm, did you create a live account and log in before 02/01/2015? If not then you won't have an account on the test server.

Yes, and also played on the test server some days ago.

Peer block type software or firewalls sometimes passively block Hex log ins. Had the same problem, just had to update Peerblock with the new client id/server ip.

You may need to run the repair option on your client then.

No peer block software, no firewall problem, repair install tried several times before.

Reinstalling fixed it! :)
