I submitted a support ticket about a week ago and still have not heard anything back. I was playing a draft and the game froze when my opponent played a card. This caused me to time out and lose. I requested compensation and have not heard or received anything. How long should I wait?

They usually respond within 24h-72h for me. Last Friday (Karfreitag) and this Monday (Ostermontag) are holidays in Germany so nobody at Gameforge has been working since last Thursday, I'd guess you'll receive your compensation tomorrow :)
