Well damn me, that looks awesome. Socketable actions sound like a lot of fun.

Reminds me of Sir Giles Rowan's champ power.

Also when I first saw the title of the article a small part of me was hoping for some kind of Hex motorcycles. Seems like Dwarves should be able to make motorcycles pretty easily considering all their other tech.

That's two great Friday updates in a row. Nice job!

I love the new actions!! The allegiance is well done also with ozawas dance :diamond: stays the coolest and best shard

and some greedy person instantly bought out all the AAs currently on the AH.

05-08-2015, 03:38 PM
oh noes, the AA's are getting removed so soon already? i only got 5 from the 24 of a full playset so far

whelp, gold prices are likely going up. :(
It seems rather early to so quickly take down the initial set of gold AA's.

I really like Ozawa's Dance - Not quite sold on the others. Think they will all be great for limited, but are rather expensive for what we have seen as consistent threats in constructed, with less reliance on board presence.

If I was at a PC with Hex on it I would have too!

05-08-2015, 03:44 PM
Well... "so quickly"... you have at least 7 days left ;)

maybe they want to stress the arena servers as well :)

The AAs will still be in the store for gold. We'll give another update with at least a week warning. But we wanted to give an additional heads up before.

Thanks for the early notice. This way theres plenty of chanceto still complete a playset.

While not knowledgeable enough to properly judge its playability, I love the theme of Tribal Warfare, I really hope it gets some boss steeped-in-lore flavour text before release, it's a perfect opportunity!
Then again, I hope for as much boss steeped-in-lore flavour text as possible.

EDIT: Ozawa's Dance, on the other hand, I love the mechanic of. I'd love to see many of the imaginable variations of actions that bestow socket powers like this: permanent, temporary, targeted, AOE, major, minor, etc, etc.

Conclusion: MOAR flavour text. MOAR socketable actions.

Anyone find the articles at the bottom interesting. None of them had any particularly new info. But they all share a theme that the authors were offered time with Cory Jones for the article. Seems that they are starting a minor publicity surge. Either it is only for Set 3 or maybe they have some type of PvE content coming soon? I was under the impression that they weren't going to do a media push until PvE was further along.

Based on the wording, I am calling it:
Ozawa's Dance will have (at least one) equip that gives additional sockets. Either via deck building, or random during the game. Hopefully both.

How come I don't see the new updates on the main Hex page, did they move them?

you probably have a link that only shows older news. If not, try Control + F5 to see if you dont have an older cached version
