Last sunday tournament despite being knocked out of top 8 to time issues and even disregarding winning a random prize was the most fun i had in ages in hex. Thanks for making amazingly fun tournaments for the community guys.

People should totally sign up for this. I would be all over playing in this tournament myself but I'm out of town this weekend. Henip, ropette and everyone else involved did a great job of putting this together and making it happen. Looking forward to the next chance I have to play in one of their events.

Would if I had a decklist and I wasn't sure it was already too late. X3

Hello there, Usually players have until Friday to signup AND send their decklists. EXCEPTIONALLY we gonna postpone that limit until Saturday (TODAY) 11.59 PM C.E.T. Dont forget that you have to sign up on the battlefly AND send your decklists : http://battlefy.com/momcardsfr/open-hexagonal-lugdunum-cup/556c5e4ffc6e914200ebb055/info for more details about the protocole.
Past tonight 11.59 PM we wont accept any registration nor decklists.

@Flying meatchip. We did announce that tournament 1 week ago just after the Massilia cup. And we announced it even in the main post of the Hexagonal Cup.

Thx for the friendly feedback from the players who did attend the previous steps of the Hexagonal Cup.

You can contact me IG (henip) if you have more questions about the protocole, about the Hexagonal cup itself or if you have any suggestion to make this open better. (Even if you have some cool and doable format to suggest i'll take that in consideration for Season II)

Lugdunum Cup -- Errata

Hello. We did a mistake in the communication concerning the starting time of the tournament. Indeed we stated it started at 3PM CET BUT Paris, and France is now in a CEST Time which means that we are no longer in gmt+1 but gmt+2.
Please be aware of that 'change'

Tournament Start at 3PM CEST (or GMT +2) --- Checkin 2PM CEST (or GMT+2)

We apologize for this bad communication. Thx to huun for reporting us this huge mistake.

I had fun, the others had fun. Don't you want to have fun? Do you hate fun? If you indeed hate fun then don't participate in the next one. Much fun will be had and you will hate it soooo much!

Edit
Sorry i truly summoned my inner clickbait i see. Don't hate me too much it was all in good fun.

This was a well a very well run tournament. Thanks to the organisers and players! :)

Here is some general thoughts, not very organised :)

The format makes it friendly to players without giant collections and I think alternative formats makes experienced players rethink deckbuilding. So I will recommend everybody who like to try a tournamment to sign up. Hexent should advertise these events in their updates. Again, I like very much that you try to make things fresh and I hope you will try some of the alternative formats that I know you are considering.

I know the number of rounds is depending on numbers of players and I hope your player base will continue to grow even more, but I do think playing 5 rounds is a lot more managable than 8 rounds.

From a europerspective it was nice too have it in the afternoon and not very late or early in the day.

Some observations/suggestions:
- Shout casting and other stuff to keep people entertained
- The restream was a bit hard to follow due to resolution
- A new player might be uncertain how it all works, so I short "guide" to assure newer people might be good. I know I was very nervous of doing anything wrong the first time I participated in a tournament.

In short, gogo continental europe ;)

This was my second foray into the world of constructed work (After the Pauper leaguenament) and I must say I had a blast; I did better than I necessarily expected to wandering blindly into an unknown meta and I feel it was quite a valuable experience. I would encourage others who are interested in constructed but lack 100K-platinum collections to do the same.
