Thinking about new and F2P players, I was wondering that once Gauntlet is up and running, we finally have a game mode that might actually work as an easy introduction to limited for new players.

Draft and 8 man sealed takes a lot of time and are relatively expensive to buy in. What do you think about having a free sealed gauntlet or a gauntlet that costs X gold to enter running for one day (24h) each week? If it's free, no players would get any rewards (nor keep any of the cards naturally). If it would cost gold to enter, the rewards could be something PvE related.

A very limited phantom for gold introduction to limited would be cool. but I believe in the pve patch they'll have another introduction for players into limited formats.

Some of us aren't really interested in winning prizes - given a way to play limited for free, we would.

Phantom queues for special occasions in the future (like maybe a birthday celebration with a cube made up of old cards), where you just throw in the 100p or 200p ante and play, would be neat. But currently "hey the new set is out" is still very impactful. It's like over +33% more cards! A long way from diminishing returns, on that one.

It is important that platinum be the resource consumed for PvP.

PvP is not, and probably will never be free-to-play. PvP is the revenue stream that allows PvE to exist.
