I know these are scheduled far in advance. Is anyone else looking at a grueling day of hex on the 10th and trying to play in both as well?

Nope, pretty much wrote off the Wild Cup as soon as the IQ dates were announced. Time I would spend deck testing and such will need to be spent trying to get points.

No, didn't want to participate in the Wild Cup due to me not liking the format anyway.

Player run tournaments aren't likely to ever match the prize support HexEnt can offer.

I thought this was brilliantly done, thank you hex a 2 am tournament messes with none of my stupid other events my gf or family drags me to.

Nah, chess is all about memorization rather than skill. Maybe try Shuffleboard?
