We've been getting an influx of new users due to recent announcements and the $100k tournament. I would love to hear what shard combos (or if you prefer a mono shard deck) what shards do you choose and why? Show a sample deck you use for newer players as well. :)

I'll go through the decks and give 5 Armies of Myth packs to a couple of the most interesting decks!

I started responding to the post and then realize there was a contest attached. As such, I won't show a decklist to avoid entering.

My favorite theoretical combination is sapphire and blood. Sapphire gives me access to card control and efficient draw while blood gives me board and card disruption.

In practice, I tend to be a blood/diamond player. Amazing troops such as Vampire Princess, Vampire King, Angel of Dawn, Living Totem coupled with the best removal in the game (e.g. extinction, repel, martyr, murder, etc.) makes it a powerful board control deck. It has some significant weaknesses against traditional control types (mono-sapphire, pure sw control (I'm looking at you evildans), and troopless decks), but the prevalence of aggro can push those decks out of the meta. Also, the biggest weakness of traditional bd control/midrange is the cost. That's a good reason for a newer player to avoid it ;).

My favorite Mono shard deck is the Prismatic shard.:p
If these new players are on the road to $100k, and would like to play constructed decklists - I think Zubrin above me, and fiveshards.com are a great resource for that type of information.

My personal favorite Constructed deck is a Mono-Blood Control list. I won't post it though, as I rather not entice new players with a huge laundry list of expensive cards. :) (It includes the choice removal and vampires Zubrin mentioned above.) I prefer Mono Color decks in constructed, when applicable to the meta, as the reduced variance in resources make them a little easier to play.

For PvE / Arena - I've shared decks on the forums that are pretty stellar for new players. In particular, these 4 are very budget minded, successful in the arena, and fun to play:
Mono-Blood Orc Evasion: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=45636
Mono-Sapphire Robot: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=45668
Ruby/Sapphire Necro Humans Shift: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=45759
Sapphire/Wild Plants: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=46123

Also - I'll link this post - Where I try to help folks out with various deck ideas, from budget, to expensive - All PvE and Arena focus:
http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=46001

While the arena lists above may not be enticing for a newer player that wants to get into constructed at the chance for $100k, the arena decks can help you farm gold to trade for plat and cards to eventually create the constructed decks you want. It won't be easy, but if you have limited funds and want to ramp up, the arena is the way to do it.

I don't think my deck lists would be very helpful - as I don't play constructed (just lots of PvE and some draft/sealed) - but my favorite shard combos are:

* Mono diamond
* Mono blood
* Sapphire + diamond or blood

I really like the breadth of both diamond and blood, who combine some of the best troops with much of the best removal - while also being competitive in the air, tenacious & playing around with alternative win conditions e.g. Killipede, Holy Ascension.

In general, while I acknowledge it is suboptimal (though less so with time), I'm always drawn to mono shard decks as I just hate to lose getting a decent supply of shards but not the right ones for my hand - or even worse the tantalizing torment of holding a dual-threshold card and being stuck at one! :(

Sapphire is my usual 2nd shard the rest of the time, as I just can't pass up the extra card draws. :)

- - - - - - - -

Adding some PvE deck lists, as Phenteo has been so generous with packs. :cool:

Citadel of Adamanth

It may look impractical, but this is actually one of my most consistent decks outside the speed-farming core of robots/orcs/Slaughtergear - if you have the legendaries to make it, suggest giving it a whirl!

Palamedes
12 x Diamond Shard
12 x Sapphire Shard
4 x Shard of Purpose
4 x Valiant Escort
4 x Protectorate Defender w/ chest & gloves
4 x Protectorate Clergyman
4 x Spearcliff Cloud Knight w/ boots
4 x Cerulean Mentalist
4 x Kraken Guard Seapriest
4 x Azurefate Sorceress (Sky & Mind)
4 x Angel of Dawn
4 x Citadel of Adamanth w/ trinket & weapon

As you'll have noticed, there's no conventional removal - just relies on superior quality troops for an early win or deadlock, then builds to playing a Citadel with generous card drawing.
Once you have the citadel out with Lord Adam's Ballista, it's hard to lose; direct damage from towers circumvents any crazy-buffed Arena troops, and you'll generate an endless stream of Scriveners and Citadels.
Palamedes doesn't set the world on fire, but he does come in handy for pushing a Cloud Knight or Sorceress out of removal spell range.

Wild and Sapphire. Honestly, it caught me completely by surprise, but when I discovered the seed of a deck just before Shattered Destiny launched, using Sight and control, I was smitten. When winter moon was revealed, I just drooled, and Windsinger was 10kb worthy for me. ;)

I'd fish up a decklist, but I am currently in a scheduled sealed. May edit in a list later.

Wild Sapphire - Many of my favorite cards are in these shards, like Pack Raptor, Briar Legion, Bird o Plenty, CMK, etc. I love the Wild for putting more troops in the deck and then the Sapphire for ramping up my draws to bring them back out again. When I put them together I call it my Teal Deck.

As a collector, my favorite decks change pretty frequently when I find new and exciting combinations.

Here are my two most recent decks that I've been having a ton of fun with in the Frost Ring!

Prismatic Shards

Champion: Kranok

Shards
6 Blood Shard
6 Diamond Shard
4 Shards of Fate
4 Sepulchra Crypt Dust
1 Ruby Shard
1 Sapphire Shard
1 Wild Shard

Troops
4 Lixil, the Deathless Gem
4 Midnight Shepard
4 Sepulchra Bonewalker
4 Prodigy of Volosolov
4 Forgotten Monarch (Socketed with Swiftstrike and -ATK gems)
4 Necrophet
1 Eternal Sage

Actions/Other
4 Murder
2 Shardcall
2 Repel
2 Extinction
2 Necropolis Tablet

Equipment
Necrohelm - (-1 Cost to Necrophet for each different threshold you have)
Bone Walkers - (Gain a Threshold of your choice when Sepulchra Bonewalker deals damage to an opponent)
Fragment of Memory - (Your Forgotten Monarchs give your socketed troops +1/+1)
Prodigy Gloves - (Your Prodigies of Volosolov give you a random threshold when they die)
Chisel of the Necropolis - (Your Necropolis Tablets ready whenever you play a necrotic)

Deck Strategy
- The deck relies on the many early fixers to get you the shards you need to play your early troops such as Lixil or Forgotten Monarch. With such a huge collection of shard fixers available, the deck is amazingly consistant for a five shard deck.

- Early troops like Lixil, Forgotten Monarch, Sepulchra Bonewalker, or Necrophet hold the fort down while you collect the final thresholds you need. Lixil is a respectable 3/3 for 3 that nabs you another threshold. With a meagre 3 thresholds of any color, Forgotten Monarch is a 3/3 swiftstriker for 2 that neuters an opponent's troop with -3 ATK. Sepulchra Bonewalker is a decent threat with the ability to remain relevant in the end game as you grab more thresholds. Necrophet becomes an absolute monster when you're wearing the Necrohelm - becoming almost laughably cheap as you collect your thresholds. His recursion ability also helps your most important troops stay on the board.

- The late-game has a multitude of ways to punish your opponent. An unanswered Midnight Shepard will doom your opponent. If you've been amassing a collection of necrotic, Prodigy of Volosolov makes all your troops monsters with five thresholds. Necropolis Tablet is already a nice source of card draw with 5 shards, but the equipment makes it absolutely nuts; granting it the power to draw you insane amounts of cards every turn.

I recommend this deck for anybody that wants to play an interactive deck with an equal amount of early, mid, and late game presence.

-----------------------

Syzygy Madness!

Champion: Winter Moon

Shards
15 Sapphire Shard
4 Shard of Instinct
2 Shards of Fate
1 Wild Shard

Troops
4 Thunderfield Seer
4 Archmage Wrenlocke

Actions/Constants
4 Chronic Madness
4 Arcane Focus
4 Peek
4 Time Ripple
4 Scheme
4 Oracle Song
3 Throwback
3 Syzygy

Equipment
Wrenlocke's Chestpiece - (Archmage Wrenlocke gets +1/+1 whenever you play an action)
Gloves of the Archmage - (Get an action in your graveyard back when Archmage Wrenlocke comes into play.)
Timepiercing Javelin - (Time Ripple gives a card Cost +2)

Deck Strategy
- You are probably wondering what in the world is this pile of cards supposed to do. The majority of the deck consists of very cheap actions that make the others in your deck become free when you play them with Syzygy out. Drawing on that philosophy is Archmage Wrenlocke who will cause you to draw a card every time you play an action.

- Stay alive early by chump blocking dangerous troops with Thunderfield Seer, or return them to your opponents hand with Throwback and Time Ripple.

- This deck is dangerously explosive with 4 or 5 shards. Cards like Peek, and Arcane Focus help you get the cards you need to finish the combo.

- Once Syzygy hits the board, you have the potential to play cards like Scheme to create more Chronic Madness. Coupled with the insane amount of card draw from Archmage Wrenlocke, or Winter Moon's ability, you can mill your opponent in almost one turn. The deck is insanely fun to play, and has gone through the arena with multiple perfect runs.

I recommend this deck for the combo players out there who don't want to deal with combat math shannanigans and want to Mill out your opponent's deck in a single turn.

My prefered shard combination Sapphire/Ruby.
The draw power and interrupts from sapphire and "in the face" nature of ruby leads to some explosive and hard-to-deal-with decks. Plus, the flavour of sapphire actions, all about bending reality, really appeals to me. It has some of the most intersting cards in the game like Replicators Gambit and Wolsy Wabbit - i have a big smile in the face everytime i see this one. One weakness of this combination is the lack of hard removal, you can bounce it, exhaust it or kill it with fire but no true removal avaiable. I like that there are many diferent styles of decks you can build: Humans gorefeast, dwaves/robots, burn, replicators combo etc.
I've been thinkering with this lately:

Bookinald
Champion: Boris Blastforge

Troops
3x Psychotic Anarchist
4x Reginald Lancashire
4x Yancy, Tinkerer of Terror

Spells
4x Arcane Focus
4x Arcane Zephyr
4x Burn
2x Crushing Blow
3x Heat Wave
2x Peek
2x Time Ripple
2x Verdict of the Ancient Kings
4x Fifth Book of D'harsis

Resources
2x Starsphere
10x Ruby Shard
8x Sapphire Shard
2x Shard of Innovation

WIP, still unconsistent and somewhat focused to keep quash rush at bay.

4 x Princess Victoria
2 x Inner Conflict (Weapon)

I agree about fiveshards being a great resource! Also, for PvE I like your decks. My PvE deck is mainly mono-ruby. Burns and pyromancers with jags.

Teal Deck. Nice name for Wild-Sapphire

As a collector, my favorite decks change pretty frequently when I find new and exciting combinations.

I love playing around with combos and decks in PvE, though I like to try out what some of the QA guys like to play. And your Syzygy Madness deck is pretty crazy!

My preferred shard combination Sapphire/Ruby.

That fifth book can be pretty evil!

Mono Diamond (mono Sapphire is a close second).

Just want to chime in and say that this is a great thread and idea.
I hope a lot of new players see it.

I don't want to participate, but I'm an all out control sapphire originally, but set 3 has me loving coyotle prophecy and Winter Moon decks.
For Arena I've been experimenting with many different things, most recently crazy unique troop shenanigans with Exiled Bard, as well as a solid blood sapphire Phenteo + Fifth Book potent combo deck.

I like sapphire & blood because those shards have most of the crazy cards with non-standard abilities

examples:
Shrewd Manipulation
Indigo Dreamwalker
Azurefate Sorceress
Bird o' Plenty
Dream Dance
Xentoth's Inquisitor / Necrophet
Hideous Conversion

i also dislike playing against sapphire & blood the most because people just want to steal or interrupt my stuff :(

Browsing through my deck list, it's easy to tell that Ruby / Sapphire is by far my favorite combination. At any given time, I have more R/S decks than any other color combination, and sometimes, more R/S decks than ALL other color combinations combined. :)

This is not surprising, since I'm a huge fan of Burn 'Em / Return 'Em decks... tempo to slow the opponent down, damage spells to blast them out of the sky. And one of my favorite cards from Hex so far is therefore, of course, Archmage Wrenlocke (AA plz!). Even his card art shows him blowing shit up and being awesome. :D

Here's a fun little burn / tempo deck I like to trot out in the proving grounds every now and then, just for relaxing:

Wyatt the Sapper champion
11x sapphire shards
9x ruby shards
4x shard of innovation

3x archmage wrenlocke
1x chimes of the zodiac

2x peek
3x time ripple
3x verdict of the ancient kings
2x countermagic
1x mass polymorph: dingler

1x burn to the ground
4x burn
3x crackling bolt
3x heat wave
4x ragefire
4x heart of fire

This deck is very funny if you can get 2x heart of fire into play, especially if you're also holding 1-2 burn spells and your burn to the ground. If I were to edit this deck to include some Armies of Myth cards, I might consider bringing in scorch or skewer, and would definitely want to insert 1-2 augur of sirion, for that extra little advantage of playing more cards off the top of your deck if you happen to not draw more actions from Wrenlocke's ability.

I like Sapphire/Ruby Dwarves a lot. New players can make a fun, cheap, effective deck for Arena along the lines of:

Troops/Plans
4xElectroid (Head Equip)
4x Mimeobot
4x War Machinist (Armor Equip)
4x Hex Geode
4x Construct Foreman
4x Hornet Bot Plans
4x War Hulk Plans
4x Gearsmith
4x Charge Bot
2x Pterobot

Actions
4x Burn (Gloves Equp)

Shards
4x Shard of Innovation
7x Ruby Shard
7x Sapphire Shard

No rares or legendaries, and the equipment all comes from the Arena.

OK, so here's my cobbled together terrorantula deck. Still testing for fun in Arena, but seems quite potent so far. Idea is to sink some nasty terrorantulas into your opponent's deck and just insta-bury them with Fifth Book of D'Harsis. The Arcane Focus and Peek may be overkill, but I want to get the combo out asap.
The Buccaneers and Exarch help with control (bounce and lethal, respectively) and the latter also adds to the egg infestation. Incubation Webs for extra control and synergy.
Even if you haven't got Phenteo out yet, you can set off spider chain-reaction bury through Fifth Book also.

Champion:
Zorzym of Korru

Troops:
4x Exarch of the Egg
4x Runeweb Infiltrator (Infiltrator's Slippers)
4x Buccaneer (Sworddancer's Limp)
3x Phenteo the Brood Priest (ideally Staff of the Brood Priest, but alas I don't have one yet)
4x Bastardspawn of Bokrug (not sure on this addition over other spider-synergy cards)
1x Eternal Sage (I only have one atm)

Actions:
4x Arcane Focus
4x Peek
4x Incubation Webs

Artifacts:
4x Fifth Book of D'harsis

Shards:
8x Blood Shard
9x Sapphire Shard
4x Shard of Cunning
3x Zin'xith Silk (I only have 3 atm)

~~~
I'll add in a much more budget-friendly deck later.
I really like Ruby/Sapphire. Something about controlling the board until you can melt your opponents face off just seems to lead to me cackling like a villain. Here's the decklist I've been toying with lately:
3 Burn to the Ground
3 Countermagic
4 Crackling Bolt
3 Incantation of Ascendance
1 Mastery of Time
3 Oracle Song
4 Ragefire
3 Scorch
4 Time Ripple
3 Archmage Wrenlocke
2 Augur of Sirion
2 Bird O' Plenty
4 Shard of Innovation
2 Shards of Fate
9 Ruby Shard
10 Sapphire Shard
Basically the goal is to use burn spells to kill your opponents threats until Incantation gets on the board, then draw all of the cards. Bird o' Plenty helps both stave off your opponent and as a draw engine, as you can use your burn spells to draw more by hitting Bird with them instead.
Sideboard includes Heatwave for dealing with red aggro, Verdict of the ancient kings for the control mirror, Vandalize for artifact/dwarves, and cripple for R/W ramp.
My favorite new combo revolves around Scrap Rummager and Drowned Shrine of Uther. Using it in your opponents ready step, forces him to skip his card draw. So combine this with a buch of discard and your opponent wont be able to play a single card for the rest of the game ( [insert evil laugh here]).
So i made a budget version of the deck (except for extinctions):
Champion:
Concubunny of Yuka (you could go Zared, but this is more fun)
4x Scrap Rummager
4x Drowned Shrine of Uthar
4x Extinction
4x Murder
4x Countermagic
4x Giant Corpse Fly
4x Inquisition
4x Arachnophobia
4x Rot Cast
4x Shard of Cunning
12x Blood Shard
8x Sapphire Shard
A less budget version would include the vampire clan and be less gimmicky (but also less fun).
I love Blood Diamond (also, the name is pretty cool). It's been my favorite from the very beginning. I love the dark/light aspect of it. I love how well they compliment each other. And especially, I love playing lifedrain decks (or lifedrain in any game, it's one of my favorite mechanics) and both shards add different aspects to gaining life! Lifedrain is an offensive technique that can be used as a defense. It can give you huge swings in life totals very quickly. It's just fun to play.
I think my favorite card in the game is STILL Blood Aura. When drafting Set 1 I would pass up rares to pick up a Blood Aura. Blood Aura with any decent troop is a force to be reckoned with (especially in limited, it's hard for people to deal with it). Corrupt Harvester is a ton of fun because he's got lifedrain AND evasion on him so you can be pinging away constantly. The Paladins make lifedrain decks even more fun (Righteous Paladin to get nice and big, especially when he's got a Blood Aura on him, and Paladin of the Necropolis for those extra pings).
The very first deck I ever built was a Blood Diamond and I've been evolving it with each new release. It's always done fairly well. Here's my current version of this deck:
Champion: Kranok
Troops
3x Adamanthian Scrivener
4x Righteous Paladin
4x Paladin of the Necropolis
1x Princess Victoria
4x Corrupt Harvester
4x Vampire King
2x Xentoth's Inquisitor [Major Blood Orb of Brutality]
4x Angel of Dawn
1x Ozawa, Cosmic Elder
Spells
1x Incantation of Righteousness
4x Blood Aura
2x Murder
2x Terrible Transfer
Resources
12x Blood Shard
12x Diamond Shard
Reserves
1x Life Siphon
2x Chaos Key
4x Inquisition
4x Giant Corpse Fly
2x Incantation of Fear
1x Xentoth's Inquisitor [Major Blood Orb of Brutality]
1x Resurrection
I'd say sappire/ruby is my only deck used in Competitive tournament, it works but also there has it's killer just like some other decks. It is an very old archetype in Set1 for a period as I know, it uses Wrenlocke and Ragefire , Mastery of Time to burn damages, but I made some change to it.
1. [Arcane Zephyr]-a 1 cost quick action , can protect [Archmage Wrenlocke] from many single removals like [Murder][Crackling Bolt][Time Ripple], and it can give additional card draw, even you can used it to get 3 damage through with a flight Wrenlocke!
2.[Thunderfield Elder] is a nice card in this action-focused deck, it doubled your actions like [Burn][Crackling Bolt][Ragefire][Arcane Focus]or[Time Ripple], the only thing not perfect that it cannot works with Ragefire's Escalation effect.
3.[Arcane Focus]is so good that every deck with sapphire should take it, saving you from shard/color screw, make a card draw, etc.
4.[Vandalize]is a card I sided to deal with artifact like [Eternal Guardian][Syyn], and[Heat Wave]to deal with Rush, [Skewer] to kill Vampire Princess.
Trishard anything, mostly D/S/W =) Set 1 Diamond cards are super strong in the mid-game [Soul Marble, Living Totems, AoD's], Sapphire has decent card draw/filtering/interrupts, and Wild has some awesome Johnny stuff [but most importantly Sight of the Sun, one of my favourite cards.]
Here's the decklist I ran in the Sapphire Cup (http://hex.tcgbrowser.com/#!/deck=25634). I went 6-2 but I think I could have done better. The champion is One Eye Open; the main idea being to get Sight down with a resource dump [Marble, Totem etc.] The draw engine is Dreamsmoke Mystic/Augur of Sirion.
I did a write-up of the decklist on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/hextcg/comments/3kzlck/coyotle_control_trishard_with_vengeance/) [will get round to doing another soon.]
Mono Diamond (mono Sapphire is a close second). My primary deck is:
20 x Diamond Shard
4 X Adamanthian Scrivener
4 x Bottled Vitae
4 X Shield Trainer
3 x Noble Heart (Gloves)
4 x Living Totem (Boots, Helm)
2 x Repel
3 x Kraken Guard Mariner
4 x Protectorate Defender (Chest)
4 x Righteous Paladin (Trinket)
2 x Her Majesty, Queen Grace
4 x Princess Victoria
2 x Inner Conflict (Weapon)
Do you have any strategies for your deck you could share with other players who may not know what would be good?
First, two things I forgot are the Champion is Dimmid, and the Protectorate Defender has the Diamond Gem that pumps all your troops on hit.
Well, this deck really only needs two resources to build up a strong team. Or course, getting more will help with the Totems, but if you have two in your starting hand, you are pretty much set.
The primary goals are to build up a lot of life, and some really big troops. Both the Paladin and the Totem can get big easily. You can get a lot of Lifedrain between Vicky, Dimmid, and Totem, which will help pump up the Paladin. With the Trinket, if he takes a hit and survives, her gets even bigger. The Totem powers up not only itself, but all its brothers, and provides a temporary bump to everyone else.
The Protectorate is meant to die and feed its power to a Totem (who should quickly get Flight and Swiftstike). That will help you pump up all of your troops.
Steadfast (from Totem or the Mariner) means you can attack without leaving yourself open.
The AI does not handle Invincible (Grace or Noble Heart) well, blocking with troops it might otherwise want to save, in what it believes is a trade-off.
Thanks for the treat! I hope folks new to the game see this, or you can otherwise make use of the ideas shared.
Bummer, I just realised I completely forgot about this thread! Curse people for not bumping it more, or I would have posted a list. :p
Feel free to participate! If you get packs, you could always give them to new players. :)
On a side note, I had someone play Phenteo + Fifth Book against me...
I hope you feel real friking good about your self now. You inspired the most unfair combo in the universe!
Also wild sapphire has always been my one true love i even played it back in the HTP tournaments a few times but it lacked a few things that are now in. Go wintermoon W/S for life!
My Favorite and OP Deck:
04x Baby Yeti
56x Shards
It's like Pokemon's Magicarp deck. Just the complete opposite in terms of Ruthless Agression!
Thanks for the generosity. :)
BTW, I was playing around with ways to make Ashwood Maestro really work for you, and I realized that with the right cards, you could combo out the Phenteo + Fifth Book interaction on turn 4. Just do T2 Maestro, T3 Phenteo, and T4 you have enough resources to both drop and use Fifth Book.
Add lots of burn, a few pump spells (BttG, Life Siphon), and you're laughing. Nasty! :)
I love playing decks that require a lot of thinking and that have many ways of winning the games. Also, I love random effects for the fun factor!
Due to the love of control and random effects, I usually include Sapphire in my decks, and pair that with any number of other colors.
I have a limited budget, but I have made a bunch of decks for very little expensive cards, but only posted a couple of them, but here they are:
Rainbow Shift, a 5-color shift deck: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=46285
Slaughtergear's Arena Massacre, a versatile S/R/D deck: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=45696
Crack Addicts - S/R charge deck, also has a very efficient mono red version of the deck in the comments: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=45580
Hasty Budget Warriors on Speed, my most recent one, for stepping out of my comfort zone of controls: http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=46319
Also, another deck that is super fun (and really fast if you want it to be), goes perfect, and is one of my favourites which I haven't posted, because there are so many dwarf/arti decks out there:
Deck: Genius!
Champion: Bertram Cragraven
Artifacts:
4x Construction Plans: Ingeniuty Engine (Equipment: Eyes of Genius, Firebolt Crossbow) - The only reason I made this deck, RANDOM ARTIFACTS FOR EVERYONE, YAY!
4x Dwarven turbine (Equipment: Turbine Gloves)
4x Construction Plans: War Hulk (Equipment: Hulk Helm)
Troops:
4x War Machinist (Equipment: Tinkerer's Robe)
4x Gearsmith
4x Charge Bot
4x Pterobot
4x Construct Foreman
3x Construct Guild Underboss (Equipment: Prefabrication Boots) - Removing later when I get 4x Ingenious Engineers and 2x more Electroid
3x VB1311 - Removing later, same as above
2x Electroid
Shards:
9x Ruby Shard
9x Sapphire Shard
2x Shard of Innovation
Notes:
It's possible to ridiculous amounts of Ingenuity Engines in just a 3 turns with this deck. I think the most I've had is practically 3 or 4 engines on Turn 3, if you count Dwarven Turbines as engines, since you can just ready your one Engine and use it many times. Really fun!
P.S. I've built a pretty fun S/R deck that focuses on playing 4x Born of the Flame (lovely art btw) as fast as possible, and has Teztot, Son of Omoc as the champion. If anyone's interested, I can post it later after I have played enough games with it =)
