View Full Version : Blocking/Attacking UI

It can become difficult to keep track of which troops are blocking/being blocked by which troops when both players have a large number of troops. I was thinking it could be good to have troops move to the side of the others when they are assigned to a specific blocker. So instead of having the attack/block lines overlap each other the troops that are paired up would be directly opposite each other. The troops that are left unassigned would remain on the other end of the board. I'm all for leaving in complexity to the game but I think this would not take away any skill and would help players not make unnecessary mistakes.

I agree the troops should re-arrange themselves as blockers are declared so that things are not tangled up.

Yes and maybe. This is good for assigning attackers/blockers, but make unassigning them just as hard.
