With the announcement of an official 2v2 format, there's been some discussion on the wiki about the best way to have a 3 player game.

"Each player has their own deck and will sit in between two opponents, while across from their partner. Two of your Landscapes veer left, while the other two point right."
This quote is taken directly from the Card Wars : Doubles Tournament item description. Omitting "while across from their partner" makes this play variant applicable to a 3-Player match.

Your two left Lanes only connect to the opponent on your left, and your right Lanes head towards the other opponent. The main difference here (from the teams counterpart) is that once a player has been eliminated, the 2 remaining players' Landscapes would converge to form the traditional 4 Lanes.

Assuming I have the correct information on Doubles Tournament, does this 3-Player version meet up to the game designer's standards (as an unofficial game format)?
