Does anyone have any inside pictures of the Index cards and insides of the Multiverse box?

Someone posted some pics of it here last night:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1563115643985775/

In case you can't get there, I copied the pic here as well. Not my pic/set so I can't help much more than that.

I'm just excited to get my own soon! The cube has pretty much overflowed the standard box at this point.

It looks like they only included the Punches, Vulnerabilities, Kicks, and Weaknesses from 1 set.

I saw that, looks like I'll keep my custom seperators I'm currently using and make more as well, because jumbling them all together is not that organized if you ask me, I would've prefered not having those tabs as opposed to only one set of them because my current organization option already has each sets, punches, kicks, vulnerabilities and weaknesses seperated by sets

I dont believe my box came with the confrontations divider? Lol

There is a divider and randomizer in the Confrontations box.

Can't wait to pick mine up later today and figure out how exactly I'm going to arrange everything

I got mine a week ago - it's well made and a great price at $25 imo. Dividers are strong, i like the foam to help protect, plus it fits everything in sleeves as advertised.

Yep, I sort of wish there was a little more room so I could have the oversized facing the same way as the rest of the cards but overall it is an awesome box

This is a wonderful product, much needed. Now, eventually it will need a companion piece for the oversize cards.

Love this idea of a companion box for the oversized cards! Cryptozoic...? Your move.

I really like this box and it even fits my broken token dividers so I can more or less keep the same organizational style I was using before I got the box, and once I get my sleeves and shipment of semi-rigid sleeves for the oversized I'll be set

I'd gander they won't look into that until a few more big boxes come out. I figure some time next summer we'll see either the next big box or crisis set, but the box still has plenty of room as of now so there is no actual need yet for a companion box for strictly the oversized, probably once more sets come out and it fills up the box they'll consider it

Crypto Website: "Inside the DC Comics Deck-Building Game Multiverse Box, you can store all of the currently available cards with plenty of room for expansions to come"

So, about that "plenty of room" thing...

shadowking01

You have to the store the cards vertically as well there is no way I saw to put the cards in horizontally

DimeDrl, I was assuming based off what I had seen already, I haven't set mine up yet waiting on both sleeves for the regular cards and oversized that I ordered, should be here tomorrow

Mine fits well, with a fair bit of room remaining.

That said ....

I only have one set of punches/vulnerabilities/kicks/weaknesses in the box. Only ever need one set - so why bother sleeving up the others? (nobody has ever complained that those core cards aren't matching)

I also have sleeved up Street Fighter and put it in there. No attempt to put LOTR/Hobbit into the box; only DC (+ SF 'cause there was room)

So what are you doing different? (I'm assuming you have all the punches/kicks/etc from all the sets in there .. anything else?)

shadowking01
09-13-2017, 08:13 AM
He like me, probably did put all the punches/kicks/vulnerabilities/weaknesses in there and for me at least I prefer to have each punch/kick/vulnerabilitiy/weakness, allocated to the set it belongs to, I have ocd when it comes to my games and it will legitimately bother me if it isn't that way and crypto said you can store all available cards with plenty of room with expansions to come, not take out all starters except one sets worth is what dimedrl is saying

Carthain
09-13-2017, 01:02 PM
Hmmm I'll have to get my other punches/etc and put them in the box, see how it looks (and take out SF ... just for comparisons).

DimeDrl's right, there isn't enough room for future expansions, I had to stuff, the first 4 sets worth of oversized with the crisis and that was all I was able to fit. More than likely I'll be moving my oversized to another box so I don't have trouble getting at them

DimeDrl
09-13-2017, 09:37 PM
I have all my starters in the box because I take my sets to my alma mater when I go to visit my friends at the campus "nerd" club. It's a social club for people who enjoy comics, tabletop and video games, TV and anime, movies and more. There are a lot of people who show up at different times, so we regularly have multiple games going at once, sometimes multiple DC Deck builder sets.

I left in the starters, kicks and weaknesses from Base & HU. Had to open up a second spot for the oversize Crisis Heroes, Multiverse Cities, and rules from crossovers and have 2 spacers left in the box. Everything is sleeved, including the oversized cards.
If I were to have to add another full game, I'd likely have to pull all the oversize cards and store them separately.

Incidentally, anyone else find it a bit awkward pulling out subsets and then having cards falling over and difficult to get to because the rows are so tall and tight?

I barely put all my cards in the box, won't be using it until this sunday at the earliest. I still wish they had made the box a bit bigger, I had to use a seperate box for my oversized because I use the semi-rigid ultra pro sleeves and think that made them too big to fit, had I put them in the multiverse I'd only have been able to fit the 4 big sets and the three crisis sets.

JediGeekGirl

All my stuff fits in there with room to spare. Key was to leave out the extra kicks, Punches, Weaknesses, kicsk, and vulnerabilities. No need to carry them around imo

shadowking01
09-16-2017, 08:16 AM
But wasn't it advertised to fit everything with sleeves with room for future expansions, so shouldn't you be able to fit everything with no problem without having to leave anything out of the box?

I ended up buying a second Multiverse box at a nice discount from my local shop in order to house the oversized cards and extra sleeves, victory point chips, etc.

I may end up doing that myself depending on how my box looks after Confrontations and TTG comes out

I'm getting it for the promo alone and I had the extra cash, also my local store gives 15% off all pre-purchases

Sure -- but notice that they included a divider for kicks, punches, etc. So their intent appears to be that you would only have one set of those in the box. When playing, it's really not hard to say "all punches, vulnerabilities, kicks and weaknesses are part of the main deck, regardless what set that particular card is from." In fact, I never mentioned it to my friends and they just interpreted it that way when we played.

When you make a definitive statement like that you are stating that every card from the sets will be able to fit, it doesn't say most cards will fit unless your sleeves are too big, no it says all cards will fit with room for future expansions

Carthain

Do you have a link anywhere of where they say that? Because if you want to be pedantic, then we need to see them state that it can hold all your cards, sleeved, with room to spare.

On the product page, it just says "Inside the DC Comics Deck-Building Game Multiverse Box, you can store all of the currently available cards with plenty of room for expansions to come, including the Multiverse Crossover Pack based on the Convergence storyline that is available exclusively in this box!"

One of the previews says: "If you sleeve your cards, you’ll have nothing to worry about, as standard sleeves fit in the organizer."

... I'm not seeing those two things stated together. Which means you can't hold them to some ideal of those being combined if they never said it all combined.

And with the first one statement (the one from the product page) when it says "all of the currently available cards..." they may mean a single set of punches/kicks .. it doesn't say you can store "...each copy you own of the currently available cards..."

But really - it comes down to: Did they say "store it all sleeved, with plenty of room"? If not, then you're holding them to something that they never said.

shadowking01
09-17-2017, 10:40 PM
But they didn't say that they said all available cards and they have said on numerous occasions you'd be fine if you sleeved the cards, whether in the previews or on their facebook. In the end most likely I'll be buying a 2nd box anyways just to be safe

Carthain
09-18-2017, 09:29 AM
Well if they never said that in the same sentence, then you can't hold it against them if it's no longer true when you combine the two parts.

I think the problem comes from the over-sized Super Heroes. Some people have them in those rigid UltraPro sleeves. That makes the Super Heroes take up twice as much room as they would if they were not sleeved.

idk, I can fit three rows easily one side.

Well per your earlier post you stated you aren't putting all cards in the box, you left out the extra punches, kicks , vulnerabilities and weaknesses. I was using this box to shrink down the amount of boxes I was using, I was shrinking down 3 long plastic boxes down to one box.

I keep my oversized cards in the semi-rigid UltraPro sleeves with the half-inch logo border at the top, and I donít mind having two Multiverse boxes right now. Much better than the four I was dragging around.

(I also use the Cryptozoic Justice League sleeves on the deck cards.)

I've found that "team bag" sleeves - that is, sleeves designed to hold about 10-15 cards, with an adhesive flap that folds over the top - work pretty well for the oversized cards, and even with the flap in use, they don't take up much additional space. (Although it does require a full third of the Multiverse box to accommodate all my oversized cards.) Just something to think about if you'd like to get all your stuff in a single box.

Well it looks like since I was using the broken token dividers it was taking up too much room I now was able to fit everything I currently own in the multiverse box. Now once Confrontations and TTG comes out that may longer be the case but as of now. I can now fit everything
