I need a big favor (patcher problems)

My patcher isn't working. This isn't a request on fixing it either, as I've tried literally everything. There's only one way I can play.

I need someone to zip up their properly patched directory on windows, upload it via google drive (or drop box, or a private server, whatever) so i can download it and play, as I did for the test server. It worked for me during test, but the person who did this for me last time is unavailable.

If you are on Windows 7 and experience any of the following issues:

1. You are stuck downloading the same files over and over
2. You are stuck downloading a specific file, but it never downloads.
3. You are stuck accepting ToS over and over.

You will need to set your User Account Control (UAC) settings to: Default - Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer. You will then need to restart your computer and run hexpatch.exe again.

We believe that the "Never Notify me" setting is causing Windows 7 to protect your files in some other way. As a result the patcher can't do its thing. We are just as baffled as you are why increasing security settings seems to fix permission issues, but that's what fixed it for us this morning (and it's was pretty rough to track down). We have an engineer researching this further, but for now this is the work around.

Okay, here's the full description of my problem, from my most recent attempts today. The experience is Identical to the experience I had with the test client, so I am frustrated to no end, because the same fixes i tried back then still don't work.

For emphasis, all of this was tried today.

First, I deleted everything on my HD that had hex in the name. Every folder, Including the ones suggested by phenteo in the app data folders.

START: I redownloaded the installer. I run it as admin. It upgrades to the new version with no problems (this is the last part that goes smoothly) it restarts.I check the game directory, the new patcher files are there, directory size is about 60mb. I run it as administrator again. It appears to patch but gets stuck at checking files. I delete the .old files, 40 megs now. i rerun as admin. it appears to patch normally and complete. size is still 40 megs... odd. It gets stuck at a dll file. I rerun, it appears to patch correctly but restarts. Still 40 megs. I run again, gets stuck at checking files.
Reboot.
I tried again from START without the .old file fix. No change.
Reboot.
I start over from START, with UAC set as Chark said, no change, except now windows asks me to allow the patcher to modify the system, no change.
Reboot
with UAC set as Chark I try from START again, with and without the .old fix. No change.

I partition my Hard drive. Install Hex on another drive. No change.
I install onto a USB drive. No change.



Back in test server, I tried all of these same steps. never got the patcher to work. Got the files from a friend, ran the patcher, no change. I tried to run Hex.Exe instead, set my UAC to HIGH, allowe hex.exe, DENY hexpatcher, and boom, it worked on Test.

Edit: The files from Gwaer work, if I still decline permission to the patcher. I'm in, but I still can't patch.
