    Feature Request: Teaching Mode

When teaching someone paper TCGs, I've always gone about it the same way.

"Okay, the best way to learn is to play. Let's deal one out face up."

It's always easiest to teach someone by showing them. You see their hand, tell them the proper play and why, you set up plays so they can see interactions, etc, etc, etc.

In that spirit, I'm requesting an option to be able to turn on "teaching mode" in a private match. Basically, all this would do is turn off timers, make the game NOT count towards any statistics, and show both hands. This way, when we inevitably drag our friends into the game (those we haven't already), we can take them through a few games step by step.

You could even set up a Teacher's Lounge, where new players could learn from the folks who want to train. Or (or better yet, and) you could find a way to incentivize losing when teaching (Achievements? PVE Cards? Gold?), so you don't just get a bunch of trolls wailing on newbies.

    What's the community opinion?

Mentor System. You get 10c bonus currency every time your student purchase a booster. The student get 15c every time your mentor wins certain tournament or clear certain raids. Limit amount you can gain per day/week etc...The logistics can be ironed out on their end.

Or other perks for being a mentor/student altogether.

They are making an AI that will give advice on deck building and card play. Just saying, new players should be looked after

they could just make a short video or slide show type thing of a game being played, very basic game and could explain everything in detail

This is a terrible idea. Everyone else suck, so it's like a blind man leading a blind man across an intersection in the middle of the rainforest.

While I have no doubt they will have great automatic tools, tutorials only cover so much, and they are the same every time. To really learn the game, you play with a friend.

This sounds like a great idea, and if nothing else, the basic idea you described:

"Basically, all this would do is turn off timers, make the game NOT count towards any statistics, and show both hands."

Sounds like it shoulder be rather simple to implement and very effective as well.

Anything beyond that would be amazing, but I guess they have their hands full already.

If this isn't implemented anyways, Cory said they were already making a very comprehensive tutorial for PvE that would teach these kinds of things.
