    I thought that might be his intent but I wasn't sure if he was thinking that or thinking of copying the imaginary redirect spell that would apply to save his combo. But yeah we need some sort of spell or creature with a "reroute" or "Willbender" effect.

    I would imagine (or at least hope) that exhausting cards will be considered an action as far as counters go.
