    Clearly the only way to make up for never telling him about the kickstarter until it was too late is by buying him a Slacker Backer package yourself.

    If you do feel bad about not sharing the KS, and this is indeed a close friend... then consider offering a good portion of your KS boosters at cost. IE: if you pledged King Tier, offer something like 75 boosters for $50~60 dollars.

    To me, just the fact of not having to store a unlimited amount of cards in your house is a good reason to play Hex imo.

    Personally, I intentionally didn't tell my main group of friends. At one point I was into WoW to the point of occasionally blowing them off, so they've become pretty judgmental about online gaming (and fair enough I suppose).

    Basically. Friends distract from video games and science. Though it does mean I don't have anyone to cook for
