    Expecting... not really.

Alpha is an external/ internal test of the system for bugs, application of stresses, and gathering data. However, it is also a time to suggest improvements for general game-play, aesthetics, balance, ect. I have had limited time in the game as patching took around 19 hours. I experienced a few bugs that have been documented and list on the "known bugs" list. This was the most glaring issue i noticed while playing in that limited time. This is the correct location for constructive suggestions so I posted it here.

In regard to the "public", I worked as a quality assurance tester for an older MMO company. I know how to test a game and plan to post/ report any issues I happen to find when I test this game; copious notes, repetition of results, and diagnostics of several machines included.

That's kind of the point, though. This isn't a constructive suggestion. You literally "suggested" something that's on the basic features list. My original post was being snarky, but it's still true; you may as well have suggested that they have draft tournaments, or sell packs of cards.

    Tutorial?

    Hi,

I'm going to be honest. I haven't really followed the hype of Hex. I like discovering a new game for myself. It's my way of having fun. However, I loaded the Hex Alpha and found there was no tutorial or anything. I loaded a game against the AI, but proceeded to lose multiple times. I'm savvy enough to figure out what went wrong (I got "mana-screwed" - had cards of one color and none of the other) but I don't know the terminology for the game, like "Rage:1" and such (which apparently gives +1 ATK when attacking). Stuff like that.

This is just my feedback as a new player. I'm hoping you'll have access to a rulebook and a tutorial through the program when it's more polished. Right now I probably won't play for a bit until that gets sorted out.

They have an Alpha Notes thread stickied at the top of the forum; it explains/summarizes what they are doing and what are they planning.

In short, no. But you can check the Kickstarter to see a lot of what is supposed to be in the game. Also the alpha notes might show you some short term goals. But there is no public checklist of features ATM
