    Ability vs Talent?

Arch Druid Lilliandra's deckbuilding reads " you may use druid cards, druid balance talents" etc -- does this mean only Balance Abilities? Do talents = abilities or is it something else?

And what are druid cards then -- just quests, equipment etc that allow a druid to use?

    thanks for any help

Druid cards, in it's simplest form, means any card a Druid could legally play.

Druid Balance Talents means cards that specifically say Balance Talent on the type line, like this:

In other words, you can use any Druid card except Druid abilities which are Feral or Restoration talents.

Also, there is a thread stickied to the top of the Rules forum which helps answer a lot of questions regarding specific hero deckbuilding from the Icecrown set.

i thought it means that any druid abilites can be used and also "Balance Hero Required" druid ability cards. The way skinner is stating it makes me belive that the first part "you may use druid cards,...." seem irrelevant. The thread in the sticky says as long as it dosen't match a negative "can't have" then any card that matches the postive "may include" is legal for the deck.

The Talent tag only appears on "[Spec] Hero Required" cards. All other cards are not Talent cards.

Skinner is saying that combining the inclusions "Druid cards" and "Druid Balance Talents" results in the only Druid cards unable to be used in the deck are Feral and Restoration Talent cards, not that the inclusion "Druid Balance Talents" alone results in that.

An ability is any card that has ability in the type line. Talents typically have ability in their type line.(Some exceptions do exist) Talent is just another tag to be referenced.
