    Trade Forum Rules

    Trade Forum Additional Rules

    1) There's a forum wide Code of Conduct. It applies in this forum

    2) Do not list buy/sell offers for currencies that are not in the game (i.e. EUR, USD, bitcoin, etc.).

    3) Do not sell accounts to other players. A Kickstarter code that has not been attached to an account may be sold solely at your own risk, but not on these forums.

    4) You can trade non-Kickstarter codes (sleeves, etc.) here, but rule 2 applies.

    5) Do not link to auction/sales platforms any kind (eBay, Amazon, third-party forums, etc.).

    6) Do not disrupt the forum to draw more attention to your post. This includes, but is not limited to, putting titles or posts in all caps, or excessively bumping posts.

    7) Please do not use the boards for private discussions. This can be done via private message.

    8) Trading forum policies may evolve. If that happens, we'll update this thread and/or the Code of Conduct.

    9) HEX Entertainment assumes no responsibility or any liability of any kind in conjunction with trades. We do not monitor trades, intervene, or mediate disputes for forum members. Any reputation threads are community based and are not endorsed by HEX Entertainment. Trade at your own risk.

    1. We investigate the validity of the claims against the alleged scammer. If we determine that the claims are valid, we issue a punitive action against the scammer that ranges from a warning to a suspension of the account. The actions are at sole discretion of the customer service agents and are based on the severity of the scam as well as past scam-related experiences (if any) with the account.

    2. We do not return items back to the person who reported the scam.

Trades by mail are not enforced by the game in any way, so you do them at your own risk. It's important that players understand this. We believe that the safe alternative is the Auction House and the platinum currency. There is very little reason to barter for goods when these two mechanisms exist in the game.

Mailing things to others should be reserved for friends sharing cards with no expectations of getting something in return.

Down the road we hope to implement peer to peer trading systems that have both party validations as well as Cash on Delivery options for mail. Until these game features are in, I would advise against any significant trades outside of the Auction House. The 5 percent savings are not worth it for potentially getting scammed.
