Thread: Princess Cory's preferred pronouns?

    Princess Cory's preferred pronouns?

What pronouns does Princess Cory identify with?

The Building Arena update uses male pronouns (he/him/his). Are these the pronouns we should use when referring to the Princess? Or would Cory prefer a different set be used?

On the test server Princess Cory's description is "Her creativity knows no bounds, and whatever happens will surely be an experience to remember."

It's kinda like Lady Zophie Elizabeth Winters, High Pirate Queen of Zophiria - when referring to me as my character/persona, you would naturally use she/her, but you could also refer to me more directly as he/him/his. I don't really care either way. My guess is Princess Cory is somewhat similar, so I use she/her when referring to the character.

Yes, but Lady Zophie has a fairly clear-cut gender identity, with multiple feminine signifiers in her name.

Princess Cory does not appear to simply be a female alter ego of Cory Jones. True, the 'Princess' title and the wardrobe are both very feminine, but Princess Cory also has also grown a full beard and has produced offspring with a faerie woman. The combination of these traits could indicate almost any category on the gender spectrum. Which makes English pronouns tricky.

I'll go with "she/her/hers" for now, based off the in-game text Kurasa pointed out, but I'm still curious if Princess Cory self-identifies with a specific set of pronouns.

Holiday has both the Faerie and Human traits.

    Valerie is a Faerie

This art shows that Princess Cory and Holiday are very close:

Inference from that, plus some based on the subjects of the vanity art for these characters.

Princess Cory is a drag queen. Whatever pronouns are "proper" in such a case would apply here.

In that case, feminine pronouns would apply, otherwise why else call her a princess?

Because the character legally changed his first name to Princess?

(Not saying that happened here, just that it is a potential reason).
