Thread: Arena/Chest/Gold/Plat statistics

  1. #21
Wow, thank you for sharing this and setting up the parse. Very interesting information and I love looking at stats.

I also was not allowed to log into "gameforge at this time" , but I was able to get around it by allowing the iesnare.com script to run. I would make sure your cookies get deleted afterwards though.

PLEASE NOTE: The Gameforge website is not secured by an https. This means that if you choose to login, you are sending your username and password over an unsecured line (among other things).

This is a potentional security risk and I would advice against using the site unless you have set up an authenticator (and even then with caution).

Maybe the OP could add this warning to his site/opening post...

I can use https but chrome warns me, that it uses a weak SHA-1 signature and is unsecured because of that

I have to remember to visit gameforge's Hex stuff a lot more often; they have some things that have me scratching my head in why they don't promote it on hextcg.com; for example, there is a pretty extensive survey I just filled out posted on the 8th of Jan. Covers what you like and don't like in gameplay, AH, and other stuff we all have pretty strong opinions on.

Sheeooot, I didn't even look for HTTPS; so used to it these days I don't look for the lock anymore.
