    custom vehicle creation

Sorry, I was going to do this earlier, go busy. Have a favorite car you own? Or on on TV, like K.I.T.T.? Well, I looked at Ecto-1 and based it on a ten point system. You have 10 vehicle points to start with. Spend it on Speed (spaces moved) and Passengers. There are also special features that cost points.

    I did my friend's Jeep:

Passengers: 2 (2 points, figure the back is filled with gear, Dimensionometer)
    Speed: 6 (6 points)
    special: diagonal move (1 point)
special: off-road (ignores Orange Lines, 1 point)

    Ecto RV

    Passengers: 6 (6pts)
    Move: 4 (4 pts)
no diagonal, no special moves but it takes up 3 spaces, so it's easier to put in Ghosts.

    Ecto-2 gyrocopter

    Passengers: 2
    Speed: 6
Special: Flight (2 pts, ignores Red, Orange and Yellow lines)
    Special: Diagonal (1 pt)
    Flaw: No Dimensionometer (-1)

    Have fun!!!

The standard Ecto-1 holds up to 9 Ghostbusters at once and moves 6 spaces.

9???? The Ecto-1 tile doesn't have room for nine people. They probably allowed that because we have 9 GB's with the SG's. I'm going by the base game stats. Realistically, if you have the Ecto-2 in the back, everyone has their packs on (even the driver!) 4 would be a tough fit. Not sure how Ray and Egon could sit upright in the Ecto-2 while inside the car but, cartoons! : )

I imagine it looking much like the picture inside the manual; hanging out the windows and on every available surface. (Egon on the hood, ha!)

It seems unlikely since vehicle combat wasn't part of either movie, but I'd love to see such game mechanics in action. It would also open the door for new Level abilities based around such game mechanics.

It was a part of the cartoon and comics, though. So maybe?

    Heh, well done.

Not that I personally consider a slime-enhanced ambulatory Statue of Liberty to be a vehicle, but I get your point.
