Exactly these kinds of things really need some kind of documentation going for them. Id suggest that when/if people come across this again to screen cap it and copy the link url the ad pushes you off to. If there is a trail of where the ad came from that will be the start of it.

Im not doubting that it exists exactly but its entirely possible that its not from gameforge directly and could even be just some rogue ad revenue clickbait company.

Edit: I originally, included a link from my history to the site doing the advertising, but it rotates through a few different games including some obvious "fishing" style websites and other games including something called "Sparta War of Empires" and a casino-style Facebook game.

I always err on the side of caution but with actual proof of it being legit ill bring two pitchforks. Crypto really needs to have a talk with gameforge if this kind of stuff is going to happen.

Before i go running off into the mists id like to see some in depth research though but this kind of ad is just blasphemy.

While it links to Gameforge, this reeks of "subcontractor" to me. I can't believe that the people that actually know HEX that work for Gameforge would want to advertise this way. I suspect it was a third party that was paid to advertise for HEX that is doing this. This seems especially true considering the ad is bundled with several of non-HEX games.

Either way, the people in charge of marketing need to know this is being produced as well as the people in charge of making HEX.
