I created my own card game with DC and Marvel characters

Hello everybody. I created my own card game with dc and marvel characters. I was wondering what would be a good way on how to shop my idea around and everything. I really hope I can get some good feedback because I want to be a card game creator. Its my passion and life dream. Do anybody has any suggestions on how to accomplish this goal and dream I have?

    thanks everybody.

I am moving this thread to the Deck-Building section. Post some of your card ideas and you will get plenty of feedback!

From my investigations into the "making your own game" -- the best first step is to show it around to people.

Let other people see it and offer feedback. Ideally, let them play it a few times (get people who can print off what they need and play it.) and then give you their feedback.

Then, take some of that feedback and see if there's any changes you can do to make it a better game, and repeat.

After you've got a good solid game, then you can start to show it to publisher at trade shows and see if any of them might be interested in what you've got.

Do you have anything to show us? Card designs & rules of the game?

Something I would suggest if you're looking to pitch a game is not mix totally different IP's (Marvel and DC). The likelihood of that happening is next to impossible, so you start off at a negative just from first glance. Also, don't get married to the IP you use in the game you're pitching, the mechanics are most important and often times a publisher may have a better fit for an IP. When I started designing games for Cryptozoic, I had made a Doctor Who Deck Building (Fan) Game that a bunch of people at the company tried out. While, obviously, Cryptozoic has never put out a Doctor Who DBG, elements from that game have appeared as other cards/mechanics throughout the Cerberus Engine games.
