Hey there,

I was wondering if I'm the only one that's gone from waiting anxiously on the daily updates for the kickstarter to nothingness. The days feel empty with no update to watch out for now everything is said and done.

I know it's been only 4 days ago, but man it feels like weeks.

Not that I know how they should go about this or anything... it's just a personal feeling of loss ;)

If the devs aren't releasing content... we must make more of our own! MORE YOUTUBE CHANNELS! MORE BLOGS! MORE PODCASTS! RAAAAARGH!

Erm, excuse me. I think I ate something a bit off for lunch...

I somewhat feel the same. Not blaming anybody, don't get me wrong, I knew they couldn't to this every day till Alpha begins. It's just...I really got used to reading the updates, looking at those new cards and all ;)

Yeap same feelings for me pretty much. I was at the KS since the first week and i really miss the chat, the daily updates the spolers and the money and backers' numbers ticking up. Thank god its summer so sunny beaches and half-naked girls make up for this :)

On the plus side, they're probably using all the time and effort they were putting into drumming up KS support into actually developing the game now. They're on a fairly tight schedule!

At least, we can hope they're doing that with their time. :-P

While I do miss the updates something fierce, we spent a month throwing money at them. I think we can let them spend a month full steaming on the game =)

I don't think it's tha annoying. They are working on the game so it's for the best.
And it's not like there is nothing to do in life to only be focused on waiting for updates, just do something else and it will come eventually ^^
IMO, it's better to be far away from the game until the beta, this way it's easier to handle the delay haha

I guess it's like meeting a new hot girlfriend, spending every day for a month with her, then after a month she says she is going to do a modelling course and will be a supermodel afterwards. She promises she will return to you and be patient.

You think you are the luckiest guy on the planet, but you hate the wait, you still check your phone 10 times a day, even though there is no messages and just hope that its all a dream come true.

Please CZE, do not get ugly!

In all seriousness... most likely CZE released all the stuff that was going to be released before Beta during the kickstarter campaign. This maximises exposure, generate hype and fills their pockets so that the game can be finished.

I am sure they are busy working out how they are going to fulfill all those promises they made, the list is a mile long.

If I had the choice between an update every second day for the next 2 months or Alpha 1 week earlier, I would choose the later.

Definitely having some withdrawal symptoms and its winter for me so no nice weather to even things out.

I vote for update every second day rather than Alpha 1 week earlier... now if it was one month earlier I might change my mind

We're at the waiting game now... I suggest finding something to occupy your time until the Alpha because otherwise you'll drive yourself mad waiting. I've done this before with other games. :-D

Given that they don't post content on the weekends, there have only been two days where they would update but didn't. It's natural that their focus would shift to spending more time on development once the KS ended - two days with no updates doesn't mean it's gonna be radio silence until the alpha release, though. :p

We were still getting communication on weekends, though. So though it's only been 2 days of missed updates, it feels longer than that since we didn't get an art preview or letter from Cory.

They are also busy with E3 - they are on stage 2 at 11:20am PDT, so the probably didn't have time, plus we might get new info from E3.

I wish they'd make a 'Day in the life of Cory Jones', or something like that. Following a few of the devs around and showing the workspace :). Would just be nice to see what they're up to.

According to a reply I got from them on Twitter looks like the weekly updates will happen every Friday.

So only three more sleeps. :)

Friday! well at least that's something. I wasn't aware they already talked about a weekly update.

Well, maybe it will ease the suffering.

Remember guys they just got handed over 2 million dollars. They have to allocate all that money and form a plan on how to use it. Not to mention handle legal issues like the contract for that author and tournament prizes and the like.

Thats not even including actually developing the game.

I just want to see card spoilers. Asking for 1 new card a day (no need for an article) I don't think is unreasonable. In a small 15-30 minute meeting they could decide a weeks worth of spoilers then its just a matter of posting a picture. This has the added benefit of constantly driving traffic to the site until alpha.

http://forums.cryptozoic.com/showthread.php?t=25327 This thread explains it, where I got the info first, and the info is confirmed here - http://www.gamespot.com/e3/press-conference/ - you need to view Wenesday at 11:20 PDT, stage 2 (directly before borderlands 2 dlc, if you see that you went too far.)
