Cirouss... In your chat logs during your game against Jtatta, you have a discussion with Letham still in chat about what to say next time you stream and what's going on... Did he give you round 8? Did you guys not play? I thought you had to win the last round to place?

We played and he beat me, but as he didnt get anything from winning he just said he concedes to me after asking roostasaur if it is against any ToS. Roosta confirmed it is not a problem and he can do if he likes, so he did. But anyway, after checking with my tiebreakers and the remaining matches I would have still been in with my 6-2 due to my tiebreakers, so it ultimately didn't make any difference.

I'm going to preface this like a postface it, This is a controversial topic, and I in no way want cirouss vilified, similar to not wanting sithos vilified. The issue at hand is the rules, not who specifically is breaking them, That said...

No way you can say that for sure while it was happening. You could have been colluding to screw over whomever was 9th.

I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll be participating any more. Splits are either allowed or they're not. The compensation issue is a red herring because no one can ever truly know if there was compensation in this case.

Also, how is this not a Rule 5B violation? How is it in the spirit of the game to win a game you'd admitted you'd lost?

The issue I have is not with Cirouss, personally I like Cirouss a lot. But if we're going to have these rules they need to be universally applicable. I'd be much happier to roll back this split issue entirely and approach it from a different angle, because there is no way you can stop this from happening in the future, either.

I can tell for sure that I would have advanced, 4 of my playtestgroup confirmed it as well any my TB were like 6 or 7% higher than the highest 6-2, I was for sure in. Roostasaur was involved and I didn't try to bribe letham or anything. So there was no insult on the ToS.

But anyway, the thing is that it didn't change it due to my high tiebreakers, so there is really no need for that topic again IMO.

If it would make literally no difference, and you knew that going in, then what would you have to remember him for? Why were you grateful? what was the point of doing it at all?

You're making it about you, and this specific case, which is exactly what I didn't want to do. According to the new updated tos rules giving games away in pretty much all cases is a tos violation. You say no compensation was offered, but you guys know eachother, he's a fan of yours in a way giving up his win to you is compensation, you're likely to look at him more favorably, shout out to him on your stream, etc. There is no way to police it effectively, which means the rules basically do not apply to some people in some cases, which is not how it should be.

I've reviewed the conduct by both players. This is not a prize split (because it doesn't satisfy the definition of a prize split: (A) prizes and (B) match outcome discussion). This is not bribery, because nothing was offered in exchange for the concession. This action does not fall under the category of collusion.

This is a person conceding a match to another.
